    We bought this mainly because it fit the cabinet space we wanted to build it into. It works fine and looks good, but for the price the button and door feels cheap. Also it’s really annoying that cooking at a specific time is a two step process. Have to select the “cook time” button first. If you start to renter the time it will automatically start . My teenager hates this. I feel like the price is only justified by being a built in unit. It’s just okay.

    Bought this to replace a GE Profile microwave that we had installed when we built our house nearly 16 years ago. If there were another microwave that would fit in the opening, I would send this back and get it, but unfortunately, this was our only choice. Like others have mentioned, the push button to open is cheaply made. My 2003 model was much nicer. I also strongly dislike the dark grey interior. It's hard to see your food with the dim lightbulb included. It's quieter than our older unit, but that never bothered me. I hope that I will get used to it, but after 3 weeks, I still dislike this new model. Why can't they make appliances like they used to?

    We had to buy this microwave again after only 2 years ownership bc we didnt want to purchase another wall encasement. The button to open it is not engineer wisely and I know it will break again. Because there is no handle, you have hand a finger prints all over the glass door & microwave constantly. We had to buy the warranty too & hope to sell our home before it breaks again.

    The push button on the door broke less than 2 month after purchase. The over all unit is very "tinie" sounding and cheap, even though it wasn't cheap. I have always had GE Profile appliances and have never been disappointed until now ---and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this......especially being a profile! I would not recommend this product.

    It sparks when cooking frozen vegetables just like our last GE microwave that caught fire. And the button to open the microwave is impossible. I would not buy this or any other GE microwave again.

    Haven’t used it but about a week and the button to open the door is sticking.

    I am so disgusted with GE right now. I purchased an in wall over last December and then went back and bought the matching microwave and trim kit. We paid $379 for the microwave and over $200 for the trim kit. It is now February. The button is cheap and broke rendering my entire unit unusable. You can’t take the trim kit off without the door being open. When the button broke the turntable started spinning and the light came on. We had to turn off the power to that part of the kitchen. Called GE. They want $118 just to look at it. I’ve had it for 14 months. There is no excuse for this high end of a product to have such short coverage. The button is apparently an ongoing issue. I’m so sad I didn’t see the reviews in time. Now if I want to leave GE I need to also get a new trim kit. Avoid this time.
