I never did get it connected to the wifi but i loved that it hugged the window sill because it was placed in my 10 year's old room. Loved that it was secure and even though you can not have a screen with the unit in the window the padding made it bug and bird proof.

1. Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds
2. Plug the unit back in
3. Immediately press the WIFI button while all LEDs are illuminated
4. Follow prompts in SmartHQ app to connect

A better version of the window ac

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple install and it gets cool but for an ac that’s pushing the $500 mark there should be ZERO issues out the box! You WILL NOT be able to use this ac with Google, Home Link or Alexa because you can’t connect it to Wi-Fi! I’m very tech savvy and none of the troubleshooting options yielded any results. Pick a cheaper unit with similar specs unless you absolutely need an ac that allows more of the window to close, but even then I’d recommend the Midea ac over this one.

Awesome A/C perfect for office

Unit went in an upstairs window in about 30 mins. by myself. Unit is fantastic and it really cools the upstairs nicely. Very happy with my purchase and also with Best Buy for their prompt delivery and excellent service.
