    Not as quiet as I had expected, other reviews don't know what quiet means. Cools well, but the noise is bothersome.

    Good AC. A little hard to install. Very quiet and the smart feature comes in handy.

    Wifi connection still not working

    My second one still wont connect to wifi bought one had to Uninstall and carry the heavy appliance back to the store to exchange and reinstall just for the same problem wont connect to wifi. Very disappointed with this product. Having to keep returning a large appliance from a second story window back to the store and have the same problem for an almost 500 dollar item is very frustrating. Tried tech support and still didn't work. Air conditioner runs great and is quite but no smart features with something this expensive is a deal breaker. Very unhappy.

      Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with connecting your Wifi to your unit and understand that can be frustrating. If the WiFi indicator light does not flash, please follow the steps below:
      Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds
      Plug the unit back in
      Immediately press the WIFI button while all LEDs are illuminated
      Follow prompts in SmartHQ app to connect

    Noisy and Heavy. But Doesn't Block Window

    Unit arrived slightly dented, but appears to work fine. Unit is very heavy. Other 8000 but window units I've installed were far lighter and easier to lift into place. The unit is noisy. It's one of the loudest window units I have. The great plus, is that it doesn't block the window. Wouldn't buy again.

      Hello- Thank you for taking the time to send us your review. We are sorry to hear that your unit originally came damaged and has been causing a noise concern for you. We can understand your frustration. We do want to point out some normal operating sounds that you may hear from your Window AC unit that you can find on page 17 of your use and care manual. If you don't have your manual and need to look up a copy, you can search for that on the website using your model number. If you are able to rule out that the unit is not making the normal sounds then we would suggest reaching out to our service technicians to come look at the unit and diagnose the issue.     Product is nice but the App does not work. Customer Service Support tried to help but still negative results.

    A.C. leaked on our floor

    The pump stopped working in less than a month and let water run inside my house. This has happened to others also. Until this happened i was pleased with the unit.. Now the hassle of having to remove it and drive the 42 mile trip to return it i am not pleased with, this should not have malfunctioned in less than a month.

    Cool as a Cucumber

    Working great so far! Quiet compared to our old window AC. I like that you can control it with the AP and set on/off schedules. We have old windows with triple track storms so we had to put a board underneath to raise the sill to the height of the bottom of the storm track.

    It's a very good a/c, quiet, you can open and close your window and have the view. But they can improve the remote buttons.

    Product is louder than stated in specs. Water doesn't drain outside properly, no matter how much you adjust the height. App works well but buttons on the unit lack response. Poor onboard controls. Cheap membrane buttons that you have to keep pressing to get the unit to change settings.

    GE Profile Window Air Conditioner

    I received the GE Profile - Clear View Air Conditioner in good condition. The installation was easy, with good instructions. I like that it sits below window level, which allows for better window vision. It works great with the remote.

    I like this product very much. Gives me more window accessibility and works very comfortably most of the time. One downside is it sometimes make weird sound when running in quiet mode. defeats the purpose of QUEIT mode.

    I have had this unit over a year now and while I love that it doesn’t over take my view, I have an issue with it freezing up. It’s 81 outside today and my unit frozen. I also noticed that when it shuts off, it doesn’t turn back on and I have to turn it off and then on for it to run. I call customer service and they said to run the fan for 24 hrs which I did and then they said it might be low on freon. It’s just a year old how could that be? Oh and I have never been able to connect to WiFi.
