Posted .Hello - Thanks for sharing your review. Some noises are to be expected when using this unit. We recommend that you review the section titled: "Normal Operating Sounds" located on pg. 17 of the owner's manual for a description of the sounds you should hear. If Wi-Fi indicator light does not flash, please follow the steps below:
1. Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds
2. Plug the unit back in
3. Immediately press the WIFI button while all LEDs are illuminated
4. Follow prompts in SmartHQ app to connect
