They had the unit in stock and it was ready by the time we drove across town. The unit performs beautifully, with very low energy consumption (yes my wife actually monitors kWh usage daily)

It works very well on the inside of the house. It's quite loud on the outside. I think the condensation hits the fan and makes a lot of noise.

I’m gonna be honest it was not worth nearly 500$. The machine cools incredibly well but the advertised “quiet”, yes I have it on the right mode, is not at all quiet. Perhaps I have a faulty unit but it’s ridiculous how loud it is sometimes, yes I also have it installed correctly. I’m simply not impressed with this and I will be getting a replacement and I’ll see if it’s the same issue. Had really high hopes but this is unacceptable.

I like this upgraded version of a window unit. I wqs always afraid a window unit might fall out of the window. But this version sits over the window pane.

Just ok, cool concept but the wifi app does not work and install isnt as easy as you would hope. Gave up trying to connect to wifi after several hours with tech assistance. Far from a smart appliance

1. Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds 2. Plug the unit back in 3. Immediately press the WIFI button while all LEDs are illuminated 4. Follow prompts in SmartHQ app to connect

Cooling Power is what we needed

We purchased this for use in our upstairs primary bedroom, 400 square feet. Install was a little challenging due to the nature of our older windows more so than the equipment itself. Cooling power is exactly what we needed. We are happy with this purchase.

It's was bigger than I had pictured, I watched the installation video which helped. Not all the way ultra quiet, but a little noise nothing that would keep you awake. be mindful that the drain is on the inside and not on the outside which was not an issue. Best that two people do the install.

The worst appliance I ever bought! First one delivered cracked and damaged. Second delivered power stinks and it leaks water in front. Scheduled repair with warranty was extremely difficult. Rude, incompetent schedulers. Waited all day( 5 hour window)- no show or call. I finally got through. Appointment was cancelled and rescheduled without notification. I finally rescheduled to a time convenient to me. Who knows if they’ll show up!!! I’m asthmatic and have to wait another month!!!!! And 3 air conditioners!!!! Quality and services unacceptable!!! I should be refunded- I paid for delivery and installation and this is the best you can do!!! Will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. And neither will family and friends! Outrageous!!!

Good start, then unit failed second year

This was a great unit for the first year. Second year of use, the pump/drainage stopped working, requiring a bucket under the inside drain for the unit to function. No fluid was in the outside drain. Will have to call GE service to have pump/drain repaired. Bummer for what was a nice AC

Overall a fantastic unit. Instructions were a little confusing to put it together but overall not bad. Wifi app makes it easy to adjust when you are away from the room. Would recommend and would buy again.

I can see out of my window

This air conditioner does not obstruct the view. I even raise my window with the screen fitting flush on the top of the unit. This helps so when the weather is mild and I don't need A/C I can still raise the window.

Dead on arrival

Make sure you try your AC unit within the two week window for a store return.
Mine was DOA, but I didn't turn it on until a few days after the 2 week window.
Been waiting a month for a repair, who knows, maybe it will be fixed before summer is over...

Loud, misleading advertisement

This A/C is loud inside and out. It replaced a recalled Midea. Its loud when it runs and when it kicks on, enough to wake anyone sleeping in the room. It's a low, heavy noise that can be heard in the floor below as well. Outside is no better. You can hear it multiple houses away. The manual says that its from flinging water against the metal housing to improve energy efficiency. If you look at the fine print, the A/C says it's quiter than 74% of models up to 20,000 BTU. Why is an 8,000 BTU A/C being compared to that range? To the manufacturer, great way to erode trust in your brand. Have already replaced it with a cheaper alternative that is much quieter. Will be returning.

Product is Good, Only issue when I get it its dented frorm the back side

It’s a month and a half old and is now dead , GE support is zero help display is dead won’t turn on . Wifi set up is terrible to the manual has the wrong instructions . Took 2 weeks to find someone at tech support to tell us how to fix it then for past 2 weeks it would shut down every 10 hours . Now at week 6 it’s dead and they can’t tell us where to go to get this piece of junk fixxed and BBY won’t take it back since it’s over 15 days
