P1 error and was leaking out of the front after 2 days of use. It blew out ICE COLD air and kept an 800 ft² area 68° while it was 90°+ outside. Returned due to pouring water into hardwood floors.

Now I see it in the store, and the price is reduced… I strongly disagree….

Worked good for 5 days then had a pump failure. Returned and got another one so far so good.

Cools the room efficiently. Nice to be able to see out the window
We do encourage you to head to our GE Appliances website to view the article called "Air Conditioners Normal Noises" under the support tab. This article can help you better understand the noises and sounds you can expect from your unit. We are glad to hear it is cooling well and we're positive it will serve you well for a long time to come!

A lot louder than I thought it would be. Wish I could return it

We would recommend checking the normal sounds your unit should be making in your manual on page 17 which can be found on the website. Too heavy and large for my application--the back of the device could not be secured to the exterior wall.

This was delivered damage, put it in the window anyways, cause no one wants to deal with a return, but we are going to have to return it! Its so loud on every setting my neighbors can hear it. Don't recommend.

To best address this concern, please reach out to Best Buy support by calling 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) or by visiting the Support Center at the Best Buy website. -- Regarding the noise level, if it seems excessive, we recommend checking that the front grille and movable louvers are not broken or misaligned, checking and cleaning the air filter, and ensuring proper installation to reduce vibration. At this point I have given up on GE. This is my third product that I have had that failed with in two years. There first step to when calling GE is sending out someone for $100 to look at it. This AC is now just a $400 fan.

Only lasted 13 months. Stopped blowing cold air then the fan motor stopped working. What a waste of my hard earned money

Junk! I returned the first unit because it did not work, got a replacement unit, compressor does not fire up

Small and adjustable, but never cooled a room. We let it overnight and it never did its job. It was 91 degrees out.

Broke after 3 months

Stopped working after three months. Technician couldnt fix it because there are parts inside that cant be serviced. Had to be replaced. Terrible waste of plastic junk and parts going to a landfill instead of being able to be fixed. I was shocked. Shame on GE for this.

Bought in march and didn’t last the whole summer. Not worth $466.00. First it started glitching from the button board than stopped working all together. Had to pull an old one from the shed to count on.
We understand the importance of having a reliable air conditioner through the long hot summer. Your air conditioner offers a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty, and we want you to take advantage of your coverage. We recommend calling Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have the unit properly diagnosed and repaired.

We used this for THREE nights in our bedroom and it couldn't cook our bedroom. It does NOT fit well in the window and was VERY frustrating.
