    This unit is terrible! It doesn't blow cold air, it is extremely loud with the rattling. I regret with every fiber purchasing this unit. Do NOT buy!

    Would not buy this. Does not keep the room cool and seems like it barely blows any air! Also beware if you have brick ledge won’t fit on the window. Certainly disappointed.

      Hello -Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We understand your concern that your a/c unit doesn't get the room cool. We recommend checking the air filter to make sure it's not dirty. The air filter should be cleaned every 30 days. Also, make sure the cooling coils have not iced up. When this occurs, ice blocks the air flow and stops the air conditioner from cooling the room. If this is the case, set the mode control to High Fan or High Cool with the temperature setting as high as it can be set. We hope this information is helpful.     Had to return after 3 weeks. Never cooled down the room. Only a 400sf room. Unit froze up to a block of ice.

    So far this unit is awesome. In quiet mode you barely hear it, and its really very quiet in the normal modes. Installation was easy and setup was plug and play. Really pleased with this purchase. The room it is in is almost 350 sq ft on the money, this unit will run you out of there, make you grab an extra blanket!

      We appreciate you reaching out to share your experience with your Profile air conditioner. If you have not already done so, disconnect the power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. Also, check to see if the circuit interrupter device on the power cord will engage by pressing the red reset button. If the reset button doesn't stay depressed and/or if the issue continues once you have restored the power, service will be needed. We recommend calling Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have the unit properly repaired. GE_Appliances

    This item is to heavy for the window and it does not have even weight on both sides. Not a good product.

      Hello- We are sorry to hear you had this experience. This is a really nice model and we want you to be happy with your purchase. This is an Energy Star certified window air conditioner and is designed to maintain the full view through the window, letting it open and close freely after you install the unit and allowing more natural light into the room. Fits windows 20"-40" wide, 13" minimum window opening height, 10" minimum height from floor. The industry exclusive flex-depth design is an expandable chase-way that accommodates walls between 4.5" to 13.75" thick. The product comes in the closed position and can be expanded to custom fit your windowsill depth. It is heavy at approximately 70 pounds and will require a couple people to install it easily.     Broke in ten weeks.

    I loved this AC at first! Quiet, cooled great, loved the low profile, fits in my mobile home window perfectly! Quite happy - for a month. Then, it picked up a vibration. Not bad at first, but grew louder. Terrible at night. But it seemed to lessen in frequency, so I was able to sleep. Now, only ten weeks after purchase, the pump is not working. I get a P1 error and it stops. Cleaned the water filter several times, still won't kick on. I removed the water filter and plug, and it now drains into a bucket. But it runs and cools. I can't go without here in Texas. I'll just dump the bucket and go on. At first I would have highly recommended this unit, now, not so much. When it worked properly, it was fantastic. But only ten weeks in use, and the pump is broken, and it drains into a bucket.... nah. I had that with my last AC, and it was half the cost.

    Easy installation. Cools well and is quite. However, air conditioner wont start cooling unless temp set at 76 or below. When set at 77, doesnt start cooling even when temp gets up to 81. Even so, I am happy with the purchase.

    First of all, the AC works great, love the app and that it has a remote control as well. It's great how it sits low enough in the window that you still have an almost unobstructed view. It was a little challenging to get it balanced in the window at first, obviously the outside end is heavier and when you screwed the supports out, it would pull the unit back out of balance. The preset slide adjustments weren't idea for my window sill and I wound up drilling screw holes in between the pre-drilled ones to give it a tighter fit. Once I did that, it was easier to get it balanced.

    Love this AC

    We replaced a roll around AC unit with this one, hoping that it would be quieter in our room. And it exceeded expectations! This is a fantastic unit, super quiet on the indoors side. It does a fantastic job cooling the room as well. It comes with everything needed to seal off the window gaps. They recommend two people to install the unit, and I can say one person would really struggle to install it alone. Highly recommend this unit! The only con I would note is that is difficult to tell what mode you are switching to with the remote, as the text on the unit is hard to see from any distance.

    Quite and cools well

    This very good AC unit solved a big problem for me, being able to see out my front window and still cool my living room. The other major reason I purchased this unit is the U space at the bottom that goes over the sill was wide enough for the thickness of my 114-year-old house of the external wall. Most other brands I researched were limited to 10 inched max. The unit is very quiet and the design is sleek and modern.

    Ridiculously great so surprised not to be any people know about these air conditioners. Very quite and suttle sound. And great for space in window so much better. All air conditioners should be this way.

    This has been an excellent purchase - fairly compact, easy to operate. We needed this unit in a room not connected to the AC ductwork, so it's exactly what we needed.

    Utility bill friendly and Quiet Unit

    I moved into a new space and had to work with some unique challenges in the smaller living space. This unit hits all the marks the eco mode works great and has a wifi option so when I come home for the day or from a long trip on hot day here in the northeast my bedroom and living room is cool. Unit is super quiet and cost efficient on bills as well. Definitely recommend.
