My husband loves this show. It's very good and true to life.

Generation Kill is the best modern war depiction put to screen. A very enjoyable series due to the humor and writing, you see the lows and triumphs of the Marines and US in general during the war. One annoying thing about the DVD's though is it doesn't save your spot if you stop mid episode.

One of the best HBO series ever. I met some of the real Marines deploying for this fracas, so they really are a lot like the series depicts. Alexander Skarsgard in the first role I saw him in is excellent in this series. Great price, great show.

Awesome HBO mini series. Watched it when it aired on HBO and couldn't wait for it to come on DVD and bluray. Couldn't afford bluray at the time and settled for DVD but either way great show paid attention to detail and was spectacular to watch

My son loved the series, signed to Marines after graduation. Not for whole family of course. Doesn't hold back on language, violence or "other" content as the goal is to portray the real, gritty day to day as a Marine in combat in the middle east.

I read the book when it first came out and loved it. I saw the movie on sale recently and was excited. I was not disappointed. This is a great film for any person interested in the military, war or real life.

Another great mini series from HBO. This series tells the story of the Marine Corps invasion of Iraq. From entering Iraq to the hunt of Saddam Hussein. This is a must have.

This series is a great look at what our troops go thru when they are serving our country. The real look of the combat scenes is awesome. Getting this on blu-ray is a must.

Really good show to own on BD. I can rewatch this multiple times a year, as I support the troops. If you don't have this in your collection, you're missing out.

It is amazing that we did not lose more of our good American Marines. I can see now why so many of our Hero's get frustrated with the politics of war.

This movie is about an recon team of Marines during the opening stages of war with Iraq, the hardship, the danger and politics involved with war.

An excellent series on the second Iraq war that follows a group of marines and what they encounter in the first few days of the war.

Loved the series, extremely realistic. You get a real feel for the soldiers, one minute they are themselves, young men behaving like their age, the next minute they are thrust into battle and their training kicks in and they become highly skilled killing machines!

From the maker of The Wire and Treme. Enough said. This mini-series is just so compelling, but not for the faint of heart.

I love movies and TV series about war and it didn't disappoint. Finally one about more recent events. The sound is exciting and powerful!

Was in the marines just great series! Great for people that want a glimpse into what marine life is, much Boardem and some fun.

Brings back fond memories of being in the corps. Good to give later family members a chance to understand what it was like.
