This wonderful Google Nest smart speaker is day to set up. Great sound. Very responsive. Sleek design I would but it again!

I'll start by saying that I received my first Google Nest Audio soaker as a gift, and I didn't expect much more than a glorified "Hey Google" speaker. After using it for a couple of months now, I gotta say... I love it. So much so that I purchased a second one! The Google Nest Audio smart speaker is a great choice for anyone seeking a high-quality smart home experience. It's incredibly easy to use, with a straightforward setup process and simple controls. The speaker is fast and responsive, delivering quick results for voice commands. Its seamless integration with Google Assistant and other smart devices makes controlling your home effortless, whether you're adjusting lights, playing music, or getting updates. A perfect blend of convenience and performance! The sound quality or if the box is good; not great, but still good, which is better than I expected. Voices come through clear and crisp, sounding very natural, while other elements in music and media are just slightly less impressive. I must point out that the bass and treble can be adjusted to your liking, which can greatly increase your listening experience. ***In my case, I ended up getting two of these after hearing that pairing two Google Nest Audio speakers together for stereo sound, greatly improves music and media, and I have to say that I find that to be completely true!

I'm a huge Google fan boy. I've had the Google home pro Max for 7 years now. To be honest it still worked so let's talk about the pros and the cons as to why I purchased a new speaker. In terms of power this speaker is actually fairly close in volume to the Google home pro Max which is roughly three times the size. Very impressive audio quality. But the real truth is until there is some Google Gemini integration into this device it will fail comparing to more modern solutions. Unfortunately oftentimes the questions I have are better answered by chatgpt.

As a customer, I’ve been using the Google Nest Audio for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly impressive for its price. The sound quality is rich and well-balanced, with clear vocals and decent bass—way better than the older Google Home. It’s perfect for medium-sized rooms, though bass lovers might want more oomph. The design is sleek and minimalist, blending nicely with any decor. Google Assistant responds quickly and accurately, even with background noise. I use it daily for music, reminders, and smart home control, and it rarely fails. One downside: there’s no aux input or Bluetooth out, which limits flexibility. But for a $99 smart speaker (often on sale for less), it delivers great value, especially if you’re already in the Google ecosystem.

The Nest Audio nails the balance between smart functionality and respectable sound quality for its size. The design is clean and unobtrusive — the Chalk (light-neutral) color fits nicely into most home decors. Touch controls on top and a mute switch on the back give you tactile control without clutter.

The display model sold me on this. It is a replacement for my basic, first gen Google Home in the bedroom. I bought two to enable the stereo function and it works amazingly. Great audio quality. Excellent response and using two in stereo configuration (I have one on each nightstand; bedside) give you great channel separation which really wakes up music and even ambient audio sleep tracks. Setting up was easy as well, especially if you have your Home app labeled properly. We have 7 best speakers and two Nest screens. The down sides: Volume. They play clear and play clean but they do not play that loud. They max out pretty low which is odd. They almost seem like there is some sort of volume limiter on or something. The speakers are relatively heavy and robust, indicative of a big driver/amp but small speakers have put out more sound. Also, the bass response, while accurate is does not hit that hard especially given the size of the driver. It would be nice to be able to use these as TV audio speakers when using the Google TV cast strip. (Hint, hint, Google. If you're monitoring this...) Overall, these are great additions to the room, especially for the money.

If you have a mini maybe consider waiting until the early 2026 model before purchasing any more, this is a nice full size speaker with really good sound. Like a mini but bigger and louder

This is by far the best Nest Audio speaker to date. Why? It is larger, heavier, and provides a much richer sound. Probably due to the weight of the magnet, etc. Plus, you can pair two of these together and get stereo. If you are into Home Automation, this version of the Nest Audio acts as a WiFi Matter hub. So, go ahead, buy it! And, if you can get it on sale, like I did, even better.

I like the form and function of this device. It connects to my other Google Nest devices seamlessly. I did have initial struggles setting it up, but that has more to do with the complexity of Google and legacy Nest products in my home on different networks. I bought this because it looks like a high-quality speaker. I use it in a room about the size of 15x15 with high ceilings. It's adequate for that purpose. For the quality of audio I receive, I think it's worth the discounted price point. I don't think I'd buy more than 1 of these, but I'm satisfied that it integrates with my other devices, I can control it with my phone app, and the voice controls work well. I primarily use it to play children's music and it sounds great for play time. I've played other music genres, but it would make me want to go to my stereo for high-quality audio.

The audio coming out of these far surpasses the nest mini speakers in both clarity and volume. They're perfect for my parents who just want an easy speaker pair they can tell to play whatever music on pandora and listen away. I like the aesthetic too, as they blend into a room with ease. I know there was a stink raised by Sonos about pairing speakers, but I just reset and re-paired these recently with the google home app without issue. The only annoyance is they sometimes pause the music without warning or clear reason.

Easy to set up and connect with wi-fi once the Google Home App is downloaded to your phone. Easily paired with another that is the same model to create a stereo pair. Has a little more bass and a better full bodied sound than the smaller Nest Mini. Responds to voice commands well and you can adjust the sensitivity level for voice command on the phone app. Love the neutral Chalk color of these speakers as they blend in well with my home interior. Love that these Nest Speakers are now compatible with Apple Music. This was a plus for me. Well worth the price in my opinion.

At first I was a little skeptical on whether I would use a product like this, thinking now "they" are going to know what I do but let's be honest, they're listening anyway. I love it! It's easy to set up and turns out I added so many other devices like my TV, robot vacuum, lights, locks that I will never go without it. It's so convenient when you're thinking of something to add to say your shopping list but your phone or notepad is not nearby so you just tell Google to add it. And my favorite command is Hey Google find my phone, lol. And the sound quality when playing music is superb. I would even say as good as my wireless Bose speaker. I also purchased 2 Google minis for other rooms. Pricey but worth it. I do wish it wasn't so big, maybe a cylinder size would look more pleasing. Overall great purchase and get the extended warranty. I purchased one and a few weeks later, it didn't work so Best Buy exchanged and my warranty is still active.

I bought a pair. They have great sound...but Google isn't great with programming. For instance, last night, they wouldn't stop playing music. "Hey Google, stop music." response..."sure, stopping music on Nest Pair." Music doesn't stop...from voice commands, from Google Home app, from speakers. Had to ask someone with an Apple phone to shut it down. Google, why are you so bad at this?

The sound quality on these are really good, especially compared to the minis we're switching from. The setup was simple and smooth, thankfully. Make Sure you use wall anchors or drill into studs; these sucker are weighty!

Its big and clean! The bass on this is strong and the trebles are amazing too! It also connects flawlessly with older generation mini speakers too!

Bought this speaker to complete a surround sound experience in our home by adding it into our existing mesh network points. Very happy with how quick & easy this was to add to our current Google Home system and pleased with the sound quality. The built-in assistant is a nice bonus, even if we don't use it all that often. Won't deliver the same deep bass or volume of a more expensive system but it works perfectly when synced up with other Google speakers around the house.

Love this speaker. Sound is amazing, beautiful minimal design. It gets pretty loud and will surprise you with the clarity and pure volume. Price point can't be beat. The only drawback is that if you want to pair to your TV, it takes some tinkering. Aside from that, I cannot think of any complaints. Great job Google.
