Great camera clarity

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These cameras were easy to mount and easy to connect thru the google home app. The view is clear and I am able to zoom in with clarity. I am using them outdoors and they have performed great, down to 8 deg F so far. The price for a multipack during a sale they had made it an easy decision.

All three refuse to connect to the wifi. Reset and tried multiple times. Called google and that was useless. Called starlink and that was useless. I have done everything that was suggested while trying to research and find a solution with no luck. Supoosed to be an easy setup and its been anything but such.

Posted .Hey there, Danatpap. Sorry to hear you’re running into connection issues while setting up your Nest Cam (Battery). Here’s some troubleshooting tips to get your device connected:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app or Nest app to get the latest features and bug fixes.
2. Your main router sometimes has a better connection than your network extenders. Also, if your camera tries to connect to an incompatible extender, it can experience connection issues.
3. Restart your router, modem, and any Wi-Fi range extenders or repeaters that you have.

Very disappointed, they are worthless. Dogs always in backyard, never see them. Need a way to rectify this. Is there any support from Google.

I kinda miss arlo as it was good at dected people vs animals. I love the fave reqiginition though. The intercoms are great.

In addition, one of the three cameras wouldn't boot up after numerous tries on multiple networks. I brought back to Best Buy and was told I couldn't exchange for a single camera and instead needed to go take down the other two and return all three. . . and then start over again. Very frustrating

If the device won’t connect to the Google Home app, press the button on the back of your camera once and wait for it to restart.
