I have installed tons of Nest/Google products for clients and myself as well but this new line up is pretty disappointing the is no option for an mounted on post product, the battery life is not great, no 4k recording, and the way it deals with network upgrades is really obnoxious half the time you have to remove the camerafrom the app and factory reset the device just to get it on the new Wi-Fi. Now that being said the price is ok, the fact that it actually does run on a rechargeable battery for certain circumstances is nice, and does not require the nest app is a plus.

Nice camera, however, Google makes you use their APP for it instead of the Nest APP. So now I have most of my cameras in the Nest APP and this one in the Google APP. Poor management on Googles part....

Great camera. With long battery life. Easy to move from room to room. Used when some movers came to pack my house. Thanks to this camera they were caucht taking things before they realized it was there. Blends in well.

The cameras just sit there, cars in and out of garages, never a shot of them. the thing that is most noticeable is the movement of trees along driveway, Unless you are standing right under camera you will get an image. Very disappointed, they are worthless. Dogs always in backyard, never see them. Need a way to rectify this. Is there any support from Google.

the build quality is great on these and the video quality is great! if you already subscribe to nest aware, these are a no brainer.

These are great looking they blend in and work so well. The picture is very clear not fuzzy or distorted at all!

After being unhappy with a Swann NVR based system and an Arlo system I changed both of those out to Nest. The Nest system seems to run a little slower than Arlo did, but overall for the price, build quality, ease of setup, and ongoing subscription prices this was a great upgrade. Major gripe about the 2-pack was it didn't come with 2 chargers and cables, just one set, so I got shorted and should have gotten the single pack cameras. Also, I bought some wasserstein security mounts and then found out that the nest cams came with a security cable already.

This is my 7th camera. They work great. One issue when it gets extremely cold outside during the day, it switches to B&W. When it gets above 20, back to color.
