I have 4 older camera's with the Nest App and they are 5 star. You can scroll back the footage to see anything you want. I just purchased 5 new Nest Cameras which require Google Home App. With this app, you can only review if there is movement. Which is an awful feature and NOT useful.

For clarification, the Nest Cam (Battery) is able to record up to 10 days of 24/7 video history if you have the Nest Aware Plus subscription and the device is connected to a power source. Work very well. I wasn't sure what to expect with them being battery powered but they hold up good on their own and have add-ons if there are any concerns.

Works beautifully. It would have been great if it came with 2 charging cords. but after purchasing an additional cord, we were able to ensure continuous monitoring.

They are nice cameras, but, I had issues with the Google app and my iPhone. The Google app and iPhone don’t seem to be compatible. I returned the cameras for a different brand. If you own an android these cameras might work well. Overall the cameras are nice.

Works great. From time to time i need to make sure it is connected to my Wi-fi but there have been no issues. The magnetics are great for adhering to walls.

Over the years i have tried many security cameras and in my opinion Nest is at the top of the list. The smart features on these cameras are amazing. I have many of these cameras protecting my property.

I purchased these cameras 1 year and 3 months ago and they will no longer hold a charge. They are out of the warranty period so they will not do anything to replace the cameras. Would not recommend as they do not last and they don’t stand by their product quality.

not compatible with first gen nest

sadly this was a wasted purchased, it does NOT work with first Gen nest.. as we still have a nest aware account we were told once we set it up that it is not compatible with our nest aware., product was returned.

Great camera knowing that somebody is always watching.

Purchased this camera as a package with the Google Hub Max based on reputation and our like with a few of their other products. However, this camera is a failure to the Google and Nest brand name. The battery life is absolutely horrible. Even at the lowest settings, I have to charge the camera wvery week. Why not just buy a lower quality camera with a better battery life!? Cannot add to Nest app. Do not recommend!

Meanwhile, we suggest having the latest version of the Google Home app that may improve camera playback controls to make it easier to play, pause, and navigate between events from the camera history view for cameras set up in the Google Home app.

No motion detected in winters

My nest cams(3) have stopped detecting any motion since the weather has become cold. In summer and fall they worked fine, but the performance in winter is very poor.

Great camera.battery only works for live feed and motion detecting, but can last for a few months. I ended up buying an adapter/power cord to keep this camera feed running 24/7

The camera is ok but the new software is terrible. I loved the old Nest software. Google is getting rid of that software so keep that in mind if you are attached to the old Nest software. The Google software is terrible.

Very happy with the quality of the video as compared to another common camera system. It was quite a bit more expensive than other cameras. Again, the quality is great
