I had issues with it going offline and the recording length was not as good nest aware is not available and we like to monitor the video recording if any incidents have happened.

I bought this to replace a first generation nest doorbell that stopped working after 5 years and the only downside is that the new google nest products do not work with the old nest app, which is not a big deal just some getting used to using the google home app

However, we're sorry to hear that the move to the Google Home app from the Nest app, didn't quite meet your expectations.
We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place where you can control all your favorite Nest devices and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired):
- Automatic security protections such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign into both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.

Other than that, it's excellent! The picture is better than the previous generation. Also, it would be best if you put in the additional extender on the box for houses with stone.

I was wrong. This, without a subscription allows me to see clear and instantaneous images of what is happening on the doorstep. Syncs perfectly with my network and notifies my phone and watch instantly. Worth it.
