I guess in this day and age of high tech we are supposed to use excessive amounts of time trying to figure things out, as Apple does with the iphone, and still have no idea of all its features and what they can do. Still haven't figured out how to set it in advance to change the temp while sleeping. Apparently you have to get up in the middle of the night and turn it down so that after doing that for awhile it will know to do it itself.

It helps remind me when to change filters at regular intervals so that one doesn’t sit in the system for a year, o get the reminders directly on phones. Twice this has greatly helped me to see that the AC was broken while away on vacation while dog was in home in the summer. Was able to let my dog watcher know so they could come put in a window unit to keep my malamute (like a husky) from over heating. Has also helped us save money every month with Eco mode where system adjusts temp while you’re away to save money. You don’t even notice though because it knows when you’re headed home and kicks the temp back to your personal settings making it comfortable before you get back home.
