I was able with just a bit of instructions from my Alexa app, program to work with. Only have had 24 hrs so we will see but for now it looks great and works according to specs

Nest Thermostat

When I turn the dial, it continues to say, “Please connect to base.” Also, when turning the dial, it then falls off at times. I am a single mother of 2 children and I ask concerned about the health and well being of my children. Can you please escalate this appropriately? Thank you, Carie Finch

Then I downloaded the app and followed instructions to sync the nest thermostat with the app and viola. I love it and my house temp is set to how i like it
