Nice upgrade from 1st gen

The tech who came to trouble shoot our HVAC system after pains taking trouble shooting determined that the Nest thermostat had an electronic issue. Had to be replaced. He installed the new one and have my fingers crossed that it doesn’t break in a couple of years! The customer service at Nest is by far the worst I’ve experienced period.

First WiFi thermostat, love it

The smart learning functionality is on point, and since my gas company provided a rebate made it a no brainer.

Great, until the WiFi chip craps out

Google knows of the issue, and working with customer service is a nightmare. This is our 4th replacement thermostat in 8 months. When it works, the integration to our house network is seamless. But COME ON.
