I got this as replacemt for an existing who presented problem with the battery Both were not compatible and everything must be replaced

We have been using the Nest Learning Thermostat for a few months now and it has been great! It adjusts the temperature based on our past usage and the Eco setting and Geofencing option has been very useful.

i like it , very comfortable and useable at house!

I was concerned with my rental in Miami abusing the electric bill Guess What? They loved Nest, now we are saving money with electricity . It leaning by itself how to control everything. I recommend to anyone.

Initially a little scary but how can you live life going forward with all these custom configuration's without Wi-Fi wireless connections and no cords this is one of the best things going Marquette!!!

I love the fact that I can start turning my heat on before I even get home so the house is nice and warm. Overall is a great product. It is a little pricey but so far it works great especially with my phone

I love the nest. The best part is being able to access it via smartphone and make changes. If I am in bed and cold I can open the app and increase the temperature, instead of getting up and going downstairs. If my husband and I are both away from the house it automatically switches to "Away" mode and lowers the temperature to eco mode. The only downside is that once we come home it can take several hours for the temperature to increase back to the "Home" setting... thinking going from 62 degrees to 72 degrees... but can't really blame the nest for this, its more because of the size of the house. I have learned to switch my status to "home" when I leave work to give it time to heat up

We had these in our old house before we moved and bought the new 3rd gen for out new house. Other than the larger screen the seem identical. We like the eco-mode and being able to control with our phones.

I bought it for its look and the overwhelmingly good feedback. But it turned out that the thermostat changed the indoor climate control so much that my family couldn't even tolerate the uncomfortable temperature control to wait for the device to learn to adapt to our like. In particular, the time rate of cooling is uncomfortable, nighttime air is not fresh which is not comfortable for sleep. I returned it.

The first thing you notice are the bigclear Numbers. No getting six inches away to see what the temperature is!
