I wish our home had more needs it could control, but because our wiring only connects it to the heater and it is summer, it is just currently making sure that the heater never ever turns on and allowing me to ask google home what temperature it is.

The thermostats could not be added to the same “home” as new devices and a second “home” needed to be created even though they are in the same address. Then when one was faulty after 6 hours of an HVAC technician billing me to troubleshoot (2 of which were on the phone with google support) they agreed to send a replacement. When the replacement arrived it had to be set up on a third “home” as thermostats were not able to be added to an existing home. Now I can’t go more than 3 days without one thermostat dropping its internet connection (making it unusable remotely, which was the point of going “smart”). Purchased these to integrate Smart Home systems and it has been the worst experience thus far. They are not user friendly and do not work as advertised after hours on the phone with tech support. If I could get my money back for them I would in a heartbeat. Instead I’m stuck being frustrated and very disappointed.
