Before using this, I could not imaging a smart life but with this I can do everything related to thermostat by phone or saying to google. So convenient.

Yes, if you're paying over 200 for a thermostat, you're expecting a lot, and this one delivers. It's very nice to be able to adjust the temp/fan etc... from my phone.

This is one purchase I’m glad that I made. It has decreased my electric bill and gives me so much ability at the tip of my fingers using the app.

This device is easy to install and setup. The instruction video is great and just have your camera ready to take pictures of the existing wires before disconnection

Learning the interface is a bit cumbersome. Kind of hard to understand the learning features.

I absolutely love my Nest thermostat. The fact that I don’t have to run downstairs to change the temperature every time is an absolute lifesaver.

Works most of the time. What is annoying is that I set it for heat to 68 and cool to 74. In the middle of the night it will change to 70-74 and wake up my children whose room turn into a sauna with the heat. I really hate the “predict what you really want” feature

Bought for weekend home. Sure is nice to have heat or ac at desired temperature when we arrive rather than having to set temp once we get there.

Mounting firmly in place without the optional plate is slightly difficult and challenging

One drawback from this unit which I did not realize. A lot of installers will not help you program and maintain this unit once installed. You as the consumer have to be on the hotline and talk to the help and try and work through it without professional help. If you want one of these you need to have a certified nest installer put this in.

I like this nest product is saves energy because you don’t have to keep moving it .

thing is pretty neat, was nice to have rebates from comed and nicor, and cool to control from the phone.

This thermostat is awesome. Small, efficient, and just overall great. Wish I didn’t wait so long to pull the trigger on this device.

Bought the Nest back in October. Not only is it super convenient and easy to access from ANYWHERE, it saved me a lot on my energy bill. Easy installation. Love it!

But its difficult to install. Im not handy but my handyman couldnt install it. He had to contact them
