It depends on your history settings which many times doesn’t work in Florida. For me, with this current features it’s dump not smart.

We purchased three and were assured that the third party total tech could install. They couldn't. Our multizone house was too 'complex' to know how to install them. The wiring wasn't the issue. It would be good to have the install team and the sales team be on same page.

Sexy features, but terrible quality

As a result, our outside compressor unit would run needlessly for hours and run up the electric bill...so much for saving energy as this thermostat promotes. Plus...this thermostat died one month out of warranty. I refuse to buy another one...total crap! I'm replacing it with a $25 Honeywell (not sexy) but it works and know it will for much longer than the nest.

Can be dangerous if you have pets at home. Needs to have more and simpler instruction. I resorted to u-tube, In warm climates it may be self defeating taking longer to cool down than to maintain
