This thermostat from Nest (3rd generation) was incredibly simple to install, and the setup could not have been simpler. The app is intuitive and easy to use as well. Being able to track energy usage to help us choose a better schedule or temperature set points is helpful.

Let me start off by saying I've never installed a thermostat before. This is idiot proof. Videos, pictures, comes with labels.for wires. Shut off breaker for ac and heating install and set. May electric company will give you rebate or cover as well. No cons just buy it. App is awesome and easy to use and saves money.

Next makes great products this is my second thermostat in my home it's so smart that I never even touch it it just learns my behavior the first couple of weeks of using it have it integrated into my Google / nest home

I love my Nest thermostat! We were experiencing problems with our furnace and it alerted us immediately that there was a problem & what was happening. I love adjusting the temperature remotely. I highly recommend!

Now have them for all 4 of my systems. Love the leaning feature and the ability to control on my phone through the Nest/Google Home App.

This is my third nest ( i have had both previous versions) the product is great but don't count on great customer service from nest. This morning as I write this review the service is down again and i am not able to connect to my nest thermostat/protect. The mobile app is down and so is there website. According to https://nest.com/support/ all services are "OK" (which is not true) I called 1 (855) 469-6378 since there services have been down quiet often after been on hold for over 15 minutes the customer service rep by the name of Charlene disconnected on me after I voiced my frustrations. So i called again (another hold of 5 mins this time) and spoke with the guy named Jeff and he informed me that the service is indeed down and there is no ETA. (this is the third time this week alone)

3 years in and my Nest Thermostat is still doing great! The scheduling is great, I also like the ECO mode Installation was a breeze and the app is painless. I’m certain my electric bill has gone down. Catch this on sale, then get a rebate from your electric company.

Sony should learn what service is by paying attention to Nest. I had trouble installing the unit, the service department at Nest was excellent. It is a good unit especially if you have a regular schedule. If you are in and out a lot like me it is nice to at least have the internet connection.

Works great and delivery was fast. Was an open box but good as new.

I bought one of theze 3 years ago for my mother’s house and it was a fantastic purchase. It has worked as discribed with zero issues. A good purchase for anyone looking to upgrade!

Best thermostat on the market, bought an additional one for my basement

First, the user experience on the Nest Learning Thermostat is great. It looks beautiful, it's easy to work and configure, and each one (we have two) works well in tandem with not only the other thermostat, but the Nest smoke detectors we have in the bedrooms as well. The iPhone app works great, too, and it integrates very well with the Wink smart hub we have. Now for the down side: While it's smart, it's only as smart as it can be given the information it has. It needs sensors in order to correctly understand the temperature situation, and it seems to only use the temperature sensors built into the thermostats, ignoring any others we have around the house. And there are not at this time any standalone temperature sensors available for the Nest system so that it can better understand the temperature in other parts of the house. So despite our hopes and dreams for a smart thermostat managed house, we still live in a house with rooms that are uncomfortably cold or unbearably hot. If I could roll back the clock, I'd probably take a long, hard look at buying Ecobee thermostats instead, since there are remote temperature sensors available for it. I tentatively recommend this -- if your home isn't prone to rooms with wildly different temperatures. Otherwise, consider your options carefully before deciding which thermostats to buy.

This is my second purchase of this nest thermostat, since we are moving and want the nest thermostat on our new home! We love this thermostat! We have saved on average about $200 a year! I love that I can program the thermostat from the nest app and have it start heating or cooling an hour before I get home., and that it notifies me when to change my air filter. Definitely recommend this product

After reading several articles about the Nest thermostat, I decided to get one. The installation and programming were easy to do and in the few months, since I've installed it, my power bill has fallen enough to change me budget payment with the utility. Money well spent.

I'm in awe with this thing! We had an old school thermostat so this is a huge upgrade for us! It's easy to use and was super easy to install! The app walks you through the installation completely! Wonderful product!
