Replaced our old Thermostat for the Nest. It works great and its the first Smart decice for our house. Love how it can be controlled from my phone. It also helps save energy with the app. I will say dont use the Geek Squad as they did not do a good job installing. They blew a fuse in the furnace and said to call a pro as the nest didnt work. I They touched a wire together. The electrician told me they should have not only turned off the ac on the panel but also unplug the furnace when installing. I need to paint the wall where the old one was as it was bigger.

Simplicity and design meet. A great thermostat that integrates with the Google Home app. It looks amazing on the wall, and it works perfectly. Setup by my electrician went very quickly, and connecting to the app and setting up wireless connection was a breeze.

Pretty cool device! I’m glad I got this model and not the most expensive one. This does the job. I can change my temperature from my phone even in the middle of the night without getting out of bed or from the car on the way home from work! It’s easy set up and easy use! I love the graphs it shows of how much energy I used and how much I saved. Very reliable!

Easy to install and worked with the ac unit. Also easy to connect to wifi device.

Best cheap smart thermostat, installed on a old system works great. Make sure u know what wires to go where. Installed with a common wire as it needs constant power but my old system doesn't have a common wire

I love that i can turn my furnace on/off, heat/ac up or down a degree from my phone. Even if i am out of the state. Plus it will loght up when i walk by so i can see what it is set too.

Google nest is the best thermostat i have had yet! Installation was east and set up was easy

This is our third Nest thermostat, and quite frankly by mistake we ordered their lower-end product. This one reeks of BOM cost reduction. No moving parts, and a much clunkier UI. Worse, the BestBuy website does not specify that two products are needed. The ludicrous (see photo) backplate must be ordered and shipped separately . We also purchased installation when we bought the unit. Best Buy’s tech claimed that there weren’t enough wires to support the Nest and bailed. We didn’t get charged for installation, but we did need to pay a local HVAC tech $250 to install it (no additional wiring required, as it happened). Recommendation: search for and purchase Google’s top-line/upgraded Nest (if they are still available). And while Best Buy tech was friendly and on-time, set your expectations on the low side.

Great product for the price you pay especially if you can get it at a promotion deal. Easy to use and very good features. Very small and fits nicely. Easy to install but set aside 1.5-2 hours. Make sure it is compatible in advance with your system, by checking on google website.

We have the older generation and replaced a different thermostat and it is definitely different from the older. No more pushing and turning. You control everything from a touch line on the side of it. After having the older one and being used to pushing it in and turning it was kinda difficult to adjust at first. I found myself using the app more than physically touching the device. Now though after a couple of months I am able to use both and mainly use only the app when I am away from the building to turn on/off the AC. Highly recommend it and works great!

Very easy and affordable thermostat, I was out of home for about a month and it was amazing how easy I was able to been monitoring my apartment temp! Love to have control to turn on the heat just before going back home and have a confortable room. I install it by my self and it was very simple, just make sure you turn off the power before the installation.

Wife and I installed this ourselves with no experience, there is wiring involved but fairly straightforward. Batteries that came in it were dead, but they charge from the power coming from your hvac system. Simple and easy to connect to our Google Nest Hub, very easy to set up and program thermostat for eco friendly use. Recommend!

Works pretty good. A little complicated to get hooked up. Looks amazing. App works pretty well. Will depend a lot on your current system.

I didn’t think it was possible to think a thermostat could be soo pretty but it is! We also love the feature when the house gets too cold the heat kicks on or if it gets too hot the AC kicks on so you’re not really having to mess with the thermostat too much! Very satisfied so far with our purchase!

Really nice device for the price there are a few things i had issues with but pretty easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions it shows on the phone and once it has everything right all in one run it runs amazingly and the convenience is amazing

Incredibly simple to use and simple to mount. Perfect size (about that of a hockey puck). 65 inch tv for size reference

We installed this thermostat to replace a builder-grade one from 2003. Huge upgrade. If you have Google Home devices, this purchase is a no-brainer. This was our first Google Home product and we had to install the Home app on our mobile device in order to install and activate the thermostat. It was worth it as now we can control the temperature from our mobile devices as well as set programs for sleep temps and energy saving temps. Highly recommended.
