Exceeded my expectations!

I was wrong. It actually enhances the look of the thermostat. Almost making it look more expensive. I am very satisfied.

Wish it was included in the thermostat itself; seems pricey for a metal plate and plastic cover.

Then I realized that I definitely needed the trim when I uninstalled the old thermostat and saw the ugly wall. I literally ran to a Best Buy store to get this.

Removed the need for me to fill up the additional holes from my previous thermostat and the hassle of plastering them. Looks decent and serves its purpose well as a backplate for the new Nest thermostats.
