Set up and config is a breeze. Performance is good. However, I'm unable to get the Digital Wellbeing features to work which is one of the main reasons I bought the router system. To put limits on my son's devices. Might have to take back if Google can't get this working.
Hello there, HarryPotter. We're glad to hear your feedback on Nest Wifi Pro. We understand the importance of having control over your son’s devices. Thankfully, there are different ways to stay on top of your family’s screen time with the Family Wi-Fi on the Google Home app. You can manage several devices together so you can pause, turn on site blocking, or create schedules with just a few taps. Great, easy to use mesh routers; replaced the previous version that were also very good. Use a wired backhaul and you can free up WiFi speed for other devices.

Very easy to use mesh wifi network was able to seamlessly switch from my wifi extedender. Only wish it was tad stronger signal theough walls. Great app.
Hey there, Indoree. Happy to hear you had an easy time setting up your Nest Wifi Pro and its range is good for you. That said, we hear you on wanting to connect a CAT5 cable to it. The Nest Wifi Pro includes an Ethernet port and for optimal performance, we advise using at least a CAT5e-rated Ethernet cable for the connection. The setup is as easy as Google is famous for. It's something I took for granted until I tried an Orbi. It was the worst setup I've ever had for a router. The Nest Wi-Fi Pro is a consistent performer as far as speed goes. It consistently delivers within 100mps of what the download is supposed to be. I only pay for 500mps down, so it is technically capable of keeping up. I wish it were a little more consistent, but as far as perceivable performance it is solid. The one thing I wish it was better at is qos. We have 6GHz capable phones, and it never puts them on that band. I wish it gave the user more control over which band they want to place their devices on. The one thing I would warn is the longevity. This is my third primary google router, and every one has started to show its age after 2-3 years. I recommend the 4 year insurance plan. In my experience, google routers are excellent until they're not.

The speed is amazing but for some reason one of the access points keeps going offline. It's actually the one closest to the base station and, therefore, the modem. It doesn't make sense. When that one is working the whole system is great. As a tech nerd I would prefer more of an interface to tweak things like connected devices, networking settings, etc without using the app.

Fixed my internet issues. Before getting these my WiFi was really spotty in my house and borderline unusable in areas, and it also would drop the connection sometimes which made stuff like video conferences basically impossible. These fixed the issue, and I now get 300-400 mbps at least, and the connection is reliable. Fixing any issues that do come up isn’t very hard either because the Google Home app is pretty good.
