All I can really do is echo other reviews I read with nothing but praise for this little marvel. The quality of the video is fantastic and the sound is pretty good, even in the case. Mine has mostly been mounted on a car windscreen, upside down, and the GoPro software flips the footage with the click of a button. The video works seamlessly with iMovie on my Mac, which I prefer to work with - mainly due to prior familiarity. It's not cheap, it really is memory hungry (get the biggest and fastest memory card you can afford!) and there are plenty of accessories for just about every use. My other recommendation is to buy a second battery and charger. Standard battery doesn't last all that long unplugged and it's useful to be charging one while using the other. Depends on what you want to use it for, but I certainly need it.

I bought this camera for a sled trip my wife and I took up north. It captured some amazing shots. I wish the battery would last longer in the cold but oh well. I bought the dual battery charger and that just so happens to come with an extra battery. I now use my GoPro on one of my model airplanes. It's a remarkably versatile little unit. I bought it online and it came with a 32GB SD card free. When I got to the store, my items were ready and quickly retrieved for me by a very friendly staff member. Thanks Best Buy for an easy transaction.

The camera itself is awesome. Takes great pictures and even better video. The lcd back display is very convient especially when seeing playback or adjusting the settings. It's also a good viewfinder so you don't guess what your filming or taking a picture of. The only down side is that the battery lasts about 1 1/2 hours. A 32 gb sd card will last you a little over 2 hours so buy accordingly. I bought a second battery and it's been working for me and my fishing videos. Also I'd carry a towel around if your going to be in water but not under. The casing doesn't wipe too well with microfiber. That being said the camera is my greatest investment. I use it on hikes with the wife and when I go kayaking. Even in the water tight case the sound comes through but don't touch it too much or it gets scratchy.

We bought this camera to take to our vacation beginning of July, we went to Germany and Iceland.. The camera was just amazing, we were able to film, and take pics of the whole trip! I highly recommend this camera for anybody that wants something easy to carry... and also there are several different ways that you can wear or mount the camera so you can capture every little moment!

Amazing camera. Still can't believe the quality of the photos! Perfect for vacations, can't wait to try it this summer and get it wet! Highly recommend this GoPro!

I love making time lapses. Video is great !...you can do pretty much anything with it,even for beginners it's awesome,you can edit videos using the GoPro templates,or make your own .

The camera is small compact lightweight and elegant. It features a pristine display in 1080p. When you take pictures or videos you see every detail and actually experience whats going on when you watch it again. Plus I love that it goes perfectly with the accessory kit the handle makes videos smooth.

The GoPro Hero 4 is an amazing camera for your extreme sports needs. I have used my GoPro for snorkeling in the Caribbean waters, sandboarding in the Chilean desserts, ziplining in Jamaica and on my dog to get my pups footage and both the video and picture quality is AMAZING! The only wish that there wasn't such a huge delay between the iPhone app and my GoPro but otherwise, its an amazing action camera!

I bought the GoPro Hero 4 with a certain concern about the benefits x cost of the equipment. After a couple of months shooting images and filming on my day-by-day and vacation trips I have no regrets at all. I just came back from an amazing scuba diving trip and the videos that I was able to do under water it is just unbelievable.......best videos recorded ever!!!!

I bought this GoPro specifically to go on a trip where I will be diving. I am so glad that I went ahead and bought this version instead of one of the other options. My videos and pictures turned out great! I just wish that there was a zoom option. My only complaint about my GoPro would be that occasionally if I was taking a video, it would freeze and I wasn't able to do anything until I got out of the water and took the battery out.

Its a great camera to take video underwater. Taking pictures underwater is great too, but taking pictures above ground you have to change the wide view to normal. Not to hard to figure out. I do recommend this camera to anyone that's looking to video or take pictures underwater. It was hard to decide on this or another camera to use underwater. This one is better for deeper water.

I got my camera before going to the Bahamas. it was great! very user friendly. had a lot of fun with it and have great memories all documented with pictures... I would highly recommend the selfie stick, get a good one, don't cheap out on the selfie stick. But it's a great camera. And buy a extra battery.

This go pro camera is great because you can use it underwater. I loved the small package that it comes in. The Feature that I would like is a manual focus.

I purchased the GoPro before we went on vacation. We used the GoPro for several water activities and it exceeded our expectations. It takes great under water videos. I also loved that it was also taking great pictures at the same time as the video. It was a great purchase and look forward to using it much much more.

I love taking pictures. This gopro helps a lot! It's small and easy to use. Beautiful pictures, especially pictures of nature.

Took it on a cruise for its first outing and was good on some of the excursions and poor on others. Mostly I will it had a zoom or better close up abilities without having to put the camera right up to the object. So far I have had two files that won't transfer off the camera and may come off by using the SD card, but I did not have that with me so fail on that. I will keep working with it, I can see some great applications for it and am excited to take the go pro on its next adventure!

I've owned the older Go Pro HD camera for atleast 4 years now and it has been the best investment in a camera ever until I bought this one. The quality of the shots taken with this is amazing. It does 4k at 15 frames which while not perfect is nothing to complain about. I bought the silver because the extra money does not justify the BLACK version which is missing the touch screen and test show the battery lasts a lot less on it than compared to the silver. If you do action sports, underwater diving anything that requires a rugged camera this is it. Definitely recomment getting it!

Look, ton of other reviews will go into tech aspects, find that junk there. This is my first video camera, other than vid functions on phones, pocket cams etc. I LOVE THIS THING! Great for "spying" on traffic while on my road bike. Too many jerks out there, now I record them and get a bit of revenge that way. Also, if someone does hit me (again...), fighting insurance should be a load easier. Obviously, quite fun for videoing the dog mountain biking with me and making us look super cool. Don't forget this is also a pretty great still camera as well. And can do single or continuous. Use the continuos for time lapse or leave it going during activity to get great shots. I put it on the seat post of my bike, set it on continuos, and got some awesome stills of my awesome athlete dog. Always be on the look out to use this in ways you may not have thought of at first purchase. The likelihood that it's able to do it and do it well are quite high.

Bought this for vacation in the Bahamas so I could capture memories from our dive. This thing was simply amazing, the picture and video quailty was second to none.
