I used a float key ring incase it fell in the water and attached it to my swim shorts

Came with no instructions. The camera itself is already confusing. I used my GoPro phone app to operate the camera.

Didn't work in the cayman island waters! Maybe the salt water makes the remote not work but the app does the same thing, $79 cheaper

The battery does not last long at all. I bought this to use while on a motorcycle trip and the battery died quickly.

Great idea but you can download an app on your phone to control the camera and also get a preview of what your camera is looking at.

Great little secondary tool for "hands-free" operation of your GoPro. My remote came with my GoPro Black Edition (BE) so it is just another reason why you should save up and by the BE over the White and Silver editions. The unit features large buttons that mimic the Power/Mode and Shutter buttons of the GoPro as well as an LCD screen that is an exact replica of what goes happens on the GoPro's LCD screen. I did notice a bit of lag/latency issues with the device. This is less of an "issue" and more of an observation; the time delay is on the order of 1-2 seconds, not the same as using the GoPro App on say your iPhone or Android device (time delay on the order of 5-6 seconds). Wifi range is also an issue. I have mounted my GoPro BE to my Super Cub RC airplane and when I get up there (a speck in the sky) the AdHoc Wifi of the GoPro unit cannot reach the remote and vice versa; at that point I also loose visual on my iPhone running the GoPro App. Nothing I would not expect given typical WiFi ranges. Overall solid device; comes with a keychain ring mount so you can always keep it close!

Definitely a device that's worth it. Makes using the camera much more convenient!

Its not a bad unit, My sons and I do motocross, so to keep it close for the bluetooth to keep working properly is not a good idea, and where would i keep it, strap it to my bike so it will flop around while im ripping the track? I dont think so.
