For anyone wanting a simple smartphone with the ability to get help when needed, this is your phone. Font is large and clear, ringer volume is loud. Phone menu is keep simple with the ability to get more detailed for the experienced user. Camera is 5mp and takes great pics. It is on the Verizon towers and network, and you get to choose all options for your plan. So you monthly bill can be as low as $20 to $100 dollars a month.

This is an excellent camera for someone not tech savvy. There is almost no learning curve on this phone. Very ease to use right from the start.

This phone is really made for Senior Citizens. The phone buttons are large and easy to use, the camera takes good quality photos, it is Bluetooth compatible, and there is room for apps you want to add. There is some bloatware, but it can be disabled or even uninstalled. You can add a micro SD card for more memory.

This is a really easy phone to use. One wonderful option that love and appreciate is that I can hear really well on this phone. Since I have poor hearing...this is a plus! Thanks to jitterbug it is not embarrassing to talk on the phone now.

    Fantastic Phone - 2 Phones in 1

The phone was easy to set up. Following the Quick Start Guide, I had no problems with the initial startup. The Jitterbug is actually 2 phones in one. It is a phone for Senior Citizens who want absolutely no frills but to talk, get voicemails and have limited apps supplied by Great Call. On the other hand, if you want a Smart Phone, as I did, it requires some basic knowledge of how to install an app and aligning it to your screen. My old phone is a Motorola Razor Droid. When I compare the two, I find many similarities, which I like. You still use the Play Store to get your apps and then you can place your icons where you want. You can even relabel them, which is a feature I also like. Setting up Voicemail was a bit tedious but a call to Great Call solved that. I found the Customer Service to be excellent and fast. A couple of items I wish they’d improve on have to do with the battery, which by the way is not removable. Make sure you switch the Battery Saver option to on. Now, if you charge the phone, the Battery Saver automatically turns off. This, they need to correct. Otherwise each time you charge the phone you have to manually go back in and switch it back on again. Overall, its reception (Verizon Network) is great. The visual is appealing, although the wallpaper choices could be improved. The sound is quite clear. I really like the 5.5” screen and the icons and fonts are excellent. For the price, you really get an excellent value, great service and a very appealing phone. It will replace my Motorola Razor quite nicely.

    Jitterbug Smart

I've enjoyed using Jitterbug Smart! It's very easy to use, and easy on the eyes. This phone has large text and icons making it easy to see and use. Menus are simple. I like the idea that it has the "5Star" button that will summon help when you need it. Also, the size of the phone itself makes it comfortable to hold, and it's large enough so that it doesn't get lost in my bag. I really like the camera. It was extremely easy to take pictures. The only drawback would be the volume on the phone is not loud enough, especially since this phone is designed for Seniors. Other than that, I think this is a great phone for Seniors!

The Jitterbug Smartphone is a great product. As a Senior, I find it to be very user friendly because of the large display and easy to follow format. Texting, phone and camera use are all easy to do. I have previously used one of the most popular smart phones on the market and had a contract with a major carrier. I find the Jitterbug to be very economical in comparison, yet it offers all the features I need. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how much I like the Jitterbug Smart!

    Good for Seniors

The Jitterbug is a bit larger than my other Alcatel smartphone and doesn't fit in the holder so receiving a holder for it would be helpful. The Dial Pad is much better than most as you can use your finger to tap the message and messages are clearer. Couldn't record a "greeting" so had to go to "Customer Care" for help. The cc person was not clear and hard to understand. But somehow I was able to record a greeting. I like that I can adjust the sound to be louder or softer. Especially important for seniors who are hard of hearing. I've added the 646 phone number to reach Voicemail, that seems to work all the time. Need easier method to download other Apps (e.g. VIA,Uber, etc.) Good that it is listed alphabetically. The ability to use voice to request something very helpful. Wonder if I could use this phone with my current ATT service. Above is the message I recorded in my analysis of the Jitterbug smartphone. I like the product even tho it's not able to fit into my case. I'm not sure I'd like to switch from ATT to Great Call. My other smartphone is also made by Alcatel and I like their products. They seem to continually improve the camera.

This is an excellent product. The menus/icons are easy to read, and logically organized. The large keypad and keyboard are easy to use. There is no need for reading glasses or a stylus. WIFI and Bluetooth are simple to configure. The Compass App, is unique. The Camera quality (front and rear) is very good. The Voice Search capability is very accurate. Battery life is more than adequate.
