Absolutely incredible movie, the 4k transfer is disappointing with the filter they applied, but the Blu-ray disc still holds up very well. For 4 dollars I couldn't pass up the upgrade from my DVD copy.

A truly nostalgic movie in regards to watching it on your huge 40" DLP rear projection TV in 1080i on your 5.1 surround sound. My friends and I have rewatched this movie many times over especially every media device upgrade (rear projection - plasma - lcd - led - oled - (projection eventually)). I'm looking forward to having this be one of the last releases for a while. Too many copies of the same movie to buy. Ultimately, this is a must buy at 9 dollas if you don't have it yet.

Very great 4k remaster of the film, highly recommend. Also a great crime film to watch if you haven’t done so yet.

Heat, directed by Michael Mann, is the greatest heist movie of all time. Al Pacino as a police lieutenant and Robert DeNiro as a professional thief are at the top of their game and the bank scene is absolutely incredible. The 4K picture is slightly dark even in daylight scenes but still solid and a worthwhile upgrade from the previous blu ray. Highly recommend!

This movie is we'll made, Michael Manning did a great job at directing this movie. This is definitely one of his greatest movies. The cast is perfect and well remembered. It's worth the watch just for the Bank Robbery scene. We all know what I'm taking about. But why did I gave 4 out of 5 stars? Well cause the picture has a dark tint to it and Some areas a bit to dark. And their's No Atmos! The sound is the same Blu Ray sound mix. But overall this is a great movie to have in your collection. But is it worth buying on 4K? No! The blu-ray release looks and sound amazing even if its only 1080p.

Classic movie Action pack gotta luv it til Part 2!

Some parts of the film can be a little slow and might not seem relevant, but the main plot and the small interactions between the actors kept me engaged. The movie has some outstanding action sequences that a can be complemented with an excellent surround sound setup. Watch the movie with the best speakers you have available.

I’d love to give this a 5 Str review but there is no Dolby Atmos mix here. The movie looks great if not a little dark and it sounds great. But it is the same audio track as the previous BluRay release. Would have loved to hear that shoot out in Atmos. As for the movie….if you have not seen it where have you been? Completely redefines the heist movie genre with outstanding performances from Pacino, De Niro, Kilmer and Sizemore. Nothing in this genre even comes close.
