Addictive Co-op fun! More visceral than the original game. Once you get past server issues and crashes that are being addressed, this game shines. Mechs and vehicles are starting to be put in game to increase the versatility of team tactics. You can play it solo, but the team is what matters. Online only play is a con, but is a live service from the developer, as long as the dev. Supports the game, it will continue to be procedurally generated fun.

Fun game. You must play online. A squad is recommended. I've seen had good and bad people playing this - so your mileage might vary. The higher the difficulty - the more difficult it gets. Can be crazy fun.

I got this game a week ago & have reunited with friends and seen buddies post up a la LAN party circa 2007 for group sessions. Closest phenomenon i can say is Pokemon Go. Game has some bugs (and some bugs), and crashes, but for $40, ive already spent 16 hours in-game and has been worth every penny. Find a way to play to however you want, or take things seriously. The realtime aspect is so much fun!

Helldivers 2 is one of those games that everybody should experience at least once. The gameplay feels great, the community is lovely and it's just honestly pure fun. Whether you play solo or have friends willing to join you, there's fun to be had in this game any time.

This game is very easy to pick up and start spreading democracy. Gameplay is always fun and never boring because the difficulty keeps getting harder as you play. Sometimes it can take a little bit to find others to play with and sometimes connectivity can drop out mid mission. Other than that it’s a great game.

This has been the most fun game I've played in a awhile - Great to just to a run and level up and keep going. Great with friends too. Highly recommended. Total Starship Troopers vibes.

First time playing this game but it seems to live up to the hype it’s generated. This is a live service game no campaign but it works. It does have a battle pass like other shooter but you don’t have to buy it. The game is definitely fun I haven’t had fun like this in a game in awhile and I have a huge library of game. You can play this by yourself but will be a challenge but would be fun if you have a party or other friends and play. I like the customization of your ship which is the hub where you can upgrade your character,guns, and missions. Just got it the other day but I had some fun playing it did have a few times getting in games but wasn’t bad. You also need to play strategic with this game and definitely watch out for explosions and calling strategems close to teammates friendly fire is on by default.

This game is a new standard on the idea of live-service games. The gameplay loop is fantastic. The feeling of defending and conquering planets with Super Earth's star system is brilliant since every other player has the same objective as you available to them and we can all work together as a community to get them done. Graphics are good. Sound design is also good, only issue is I wish the bigger enemies were louder because they can easily sneak up on you without you hearing them. The weapons in the game are a lot of fun to use and vary in use case. Playing with friends is a ton of fun, but even playing with randoms cansometimes be even better with how good the average player is at the game. So for there are only to enemy types, Terminids (Bugs) and Automatons (Robots). Both require different tactics and strategies. There will be more enemy types later on. Overall great game!

What a great idea for a game. It’s a blast! For me the more friends I have to play with the better! Game is even better if you have a mic. You are all fighting together and the team aspect is so fun! Sometimes a little glitchy but the fun still makes it 5 stars for me!

I have been investing so many hours into this game since it launched and its worth every dollar. Playing this with friends makes it even better. The mechanics are solid and while servers are still in need of improvent, it really does deserve a chance if you’re unsure.

One of the reasons I even got a ps5 just recentlt was to play this game, its just down to earth fun the leveling system isnt bad strategems are fun and spilling oil and killing those buggers is def worth 40 bucks. Not even 60 dollars creators are awesome

Strap yourself in a heat shield pod, launch yourself down to a planet surrounded and outnumbered with a variety of orbital fire support to destroy one of 3 distinct enemy types in an effort to achieve a variety of mission objectives, and extract under a strict deadline in this intense 3rd person shooter. Havent enjoyed a game like this in almost 20 years.

Believe the hype. This game is outstanding - It's quite literally the most fun I have had in an online shooter probably since Halo 2 LAN-party days. This title was on my radar since I had played the original as one of the PSN free game so I had an idea of what I was getting into, but oh boy. Let's just say, if you have a PS5, like shooters, have friends that you love to play with then you should already have this. It's got the chance to become a real console-seller. One tip: all materials, credits, money etc. are shared by the team so it does not matter who loots it - just make sure SOMEOME extracts with the mats! Good luck, Helldivers!

Fast paced action. You will not get bored. I am still playing it.

An actual good live service game. Game is really fun and actually feels like a finished product, and at a $40 price too. This is one of very few modern co op games that actually delivers and keeps you coming back for more.

It’s about time PlayStation has its own exclusive multilayer shooter game. It’s very well done and taking the world by storm for a reason. Best of all, it’s sold at a low entry price rather than the standard $70.

I love this game! It’s so fun to play with my son and the music reminds me of the movie, “starship troopers”

Fantastic game great fun lots of content continually added and great active community can always find a match to join with strangers and easy low price so barrier to entry is low easy to get into.

Love the lore of the game, love playing with my buddies as well. You will have a love hate relationship with this game, it will challenge you and has many difficulties to choose from for all ages!
