This game is very easy to pick up and start spreading democracy. Gameplay is always fun and never boring because the difficulty keeps getting harder as you play. Sometimes it can take a little bit to find others to play with and sometimes connectivity can drop out mid mission. Other than that it’s a great game.

Multiplayer playstation and pc exclusive very tactical and emrsive its another m rated game very fun and emersive id ask friends to buy the game and play with you and help each other out with tips and tricks from teamwork , it like starship troopers you kill aliens and robots dlc and more enemys and planets are comingin the next few years great game so far im level 150

This is the most goofy fun I’ve had playing online in a long time. The combat is snappy, the graphics are nice, and in game commentary from your fellow Helldivers is hilarious. It doesn’t have to be complicated; it’s a very simple co-op third person shooter done right. Highly recommend!

Strap yourself in a heat shield pod, launch yourself down to a planet surrounded and outnumbered with a variety of orbital fire support to destroy one of 3 distinct enemy types in an effort to achieve a variety of mission objectives, and extract under a strict deadline in this intense 3rd person shooter. Havent enjoyed a game like this in almost 20 years.

Tons of fun and still has an active community, so no problems finding games. Fighting bugs has never been this much fun!

What a great idea for a game. It’s a blast! For me the more friends I have to play with the better! Game is even better if you have a mic. You are all fighting together and the team aspect is so fun! Sometimes a little glitchy but the fun still makes it 5 stars for me!

In a time where most multiplayer game sucks as they try to promote battle passes and ruin the game with live service its nice to have an actual game thats exclusively multiplayer and also very good. Really happy with this purchase.

The game is a great fun, whether with friends or random strangers online. Highly recommended. The PS5 version has both Performance and Cinematic mode, you will absolutely want to play it on Performance because the other mode is not... very playable. If you want a true "cinematic" experience while still being playable, play it on a decent PC and max out everything. For reference, my PC rig is: i7-14700k RTX 4080 Super 64 GB DDR5 RAM 12TB SSD 1000Watt PSU I hit around 90fps at Native 4k (no upscaling). You can push the performance farther with a little app like Lossless Scaling. Configure it properly and you can likely easily match your monitor (or TV) refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and beautiful experience. I play on a 4k OLED at 120hz.

Sike! FOR DEMOCRACY BABY! Nah but this game is a ton of fun. You have two factions you can go up against; Automaton, basically Terminators. And the other Terminids, big alien bugs. The higher the difficulty, more hordes and different types pop up. You can play Solo or Coop with friends and/or Randoms. Normally I hate anything that's live service, almost every game and their mama has one. Plus the constant micro or mega transactions smacking you in the face, buy this $20 pass to gain access to etc etc so you don't miss out. But this does it better, no FOMO (Fear of missing out), so don't worry if you don't have enough in game credits, just keep playing or buy their credits with actual money, to unlock a Warbonds which is basically a Battle Pass but doesn't go away. Im probably doing a poor job describing it lol.

This game is full of NON-STOP action! There is a great community in this game that is willing to help you understand the game! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fast-paced bug/robot Co-op shooter.

Helldivers 2 is one of those games that everybody should experience at least once. The gameplay feels great, the community is lovely and it's just honestly pure fun. Whether you play solo or have friends willing to join you, there's fun to be had in this game any time.

Super fun co-op game. Underdog for game of the year, in my opinion. Well worth $40, if not more. Yes, there are bugs and such, but the development team is on it!

When the game works, It's super fun. I haven't had issues this month. The game has become more "difficult" after the dev debuffs, but it's still fun. It's definitely worth $40!!! You don't need to spend extra money to have fun either.

Around a decade ago, there was a little title called Helldivers that had a rather muted release on the PS4, PS3 and the PS Vita that was a surprisingly fun top-down shooter and managed to carve out a decent cult following over its decade long release. 9 years later, we got a sequel that changed gameplay mechanics and style, upped the graphics considerably and still retaining the fun of the original title, this game is easily the 'Aliens' of video games. You are a newly recruited Helldiver, sent to the edges of the known universe, in order to spread democracy, by any means necessary. You and a squad of Helldivers drop in on the enemies turf and free-up territory, with your weapons at your disposal, and proclaim peace, no matter how many you had to kill to achieve it. Helldivers II is a fun romp, best when played with friends (the game is a PS5 exclusive on consoles, but is available on PC and is cross-play compatible) and it gets very tough very fast. Strategems (a returning mechanic) help level the playing field, able to airdrop various tools needed for freedom, varying from missle launchers, heavy machine guns, orbital strikes and more to aid in the cause via a few button prompts. It's a clever mechanic that makes it that much more satisfying pulling it off while in the heat of battle. There isn't much of a storyline, literally just an online-only mission based format game, but the gameplay is the main draw. Not just the use of strategems in the game, but the exquisite movement systems on-foot, on the ground or mid-air diving, it's all controlled fluidly. The reload system is also different than your typical shooter game, where if you reload without having spent the entirety of the magazine, that magazine and the ammo are just gone forever. It makes it that much more challenging if you should pull off a strategic reload if needed, or just go the whole nine yards. Graphically, the game is gorgeous and runs smoothly at 60fps on performance mode, but if you really want 4k graphics, just leave it on quality mode, at the expense of frames per second. Sound design is also top-notch, with the ability to immerse the player with amazingly detailed effects, whether played via headphones, or over your TV set. The main draw of this game is the fantastic gameplay, and the low, low price of $40 brand new. You get wayyyyy more bang for your buck, especially compared to other titles out there in the live-service released. It's an amazingly fun title, despite the online only, lack of story or, this is easily worth a $40 pick up it's awesome!
