AMAZING!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so in love with this TV. I was looking for a great quality TV to game on with my Series X and hopefully a PS5 if I can ever get one in stock haha, and to stream shows and videos on. Let me tell you, this TV has every visual setting that the Series X and PS5 offers (4k, 120 fps, HDR 10, Dolby Vision for TV and Dolby Vision for Gaming!) and it runs very smooth. It also has a gaming mode and VRR to make for little input lag and no screen tearing. I also am a big fan of the not so popular motion enhancement technology features that these more expensive TV's offer, so I was hoping for it to have that buttery smooth frame rate increase that brings the soap opera effect to any show or video watch AND IT DOES (you can turn it off as well)! I don't have a sound bar (I mainly use bluetooth headphones with it), but the speakers are very good as well and loud. You don't even need to turn the volume up past 20 for the sound to fill a room. If you want a display for gaming AND to stream shows on equally in amazing quality at an amazing price, then get this TV. I am so satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this one for anyone who's looking for a TV with all the amenities out there at a great price. Hisense I love you.

Great...with a particular catch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Hisense U7 panel is a good tv through and through, there is just something you have to watch out for. PROS: The HDR, Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision and picture quality are superb. I was actually blown away by how good it was at this price point. Also, the two HDMI 2.1 ports are a added bonus....speaking of HDMI 2.1...CONS: The two ports seem to support 4k 120 picture quality just fine, and one of the said ports audio is ultra crisp and working properly, but it's something going on with the second. To be specific, HDMI 2.1 Port 4. I had my PS5 hooked up to this one and the sound just didn't work. I had to turn on my XBOX Series X ( hooked to HDMI 2.1 port 3) to even get the sound to register on the other port. And believe me, this is no user error, as I fiddled with this tv for up to 4 hours, changing every setting within the tv and the console, coming to no solution. VERDICT: If you only have one next gen gaming system, and you only use the tv for streaming/movies/videos etc, this tv is a dream at this price point. But, if you have both next gen systems, skip this one and save yourself the headache of having to return this panel, because it will be inevitable.

Great Value for Price for PS5 Owners
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would say this is the perfect budget tv for ps5 owners. I got this tv for that exact reason and it is fantastic. Some aspects of picture quality and color depth leaves some things to be desired, but I never think of those problems unless I’m looking at another higher end tv and comparing it to what I have.

Get whatsaffordable and competitive on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not a super TV techy by any means, I basically just bought it for better graphic on my Ps5. While it’s a very impressive and beautiful screen to look at majority of the time I have had minor issues with the Tv itself closing out of apps and going to the home screen (It’s usually fine after restarting and no issue for a while) but other than that I feel overall satisfied. It is very unfortunate how the Ps5 offers 4k HDR but you won’t get true 120hz because of the Ps5 display, only you can play Xbox sx and get 120hz 4k HDR. Pretty bummed about it but after figuring out how to turn on Hdmi enhanced my game play has slightly changed which is keeping me happy as of now. I just wish I could for sure have my full capability of my TV work for my system. None the less it’s a sweet TV after messing around with the setting you like.

Hisense U7G well worth the $$$
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After I adjusted my picture settings and dialed in some of the calibration as well this tv is far superior than alot of tvs on the market for a fraction of the price. 4k 120hz on PS5 looks incredible. The bezel and overall look of the Hisense U7G it top notch. Absolutely incredible buy from best buy. Contemplated on other brands and models but I'm really glad I choose the U7G.

Best 4k 120hz tv for your money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this tv because of its price because I wanted to get an OLED tv but decided to get this tv instead to use with my PS5 since it supports 4k 120hz and has great picture quality, blacks get pretty dark and it gets pretty bright. Only thing i noticed is that reds look kinda pinkish but probably can be calibrated. I got this to spend less now and wait for OLEDs to get cheaper.

Poor motion handling ruins the experience.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did pretty extensive research on mid-range priced 4K tvs. This one seemed to have widespread praise from review sites. It also has so many higher-end features: QLED, local dimming, Dolby vision/atmos, 4K/120 hz capabilities for gaming, etc. The color looked excellent, contrast was good, 4K UHD content looked superb. However, after spending about 1 week with it, I would say this tv simply fails to deliver on fundamental qualities, mostly in regards to motion. So much so that it ruins the entire package. I always turn motion interpolation to “film” or off to enjoy movies as they were filmed. However, the judder and stuttering without any motion smoothing on was unbearable and ruined movie watching. Turning motion smoothing on low setting seems like it would help; however, this TV has ABYSMAL motion interpolation. I can’t even describe how often it drops frames and stutters, only to catch up in speed later. So, the fix for the 1st problem also made watching unbearable. I thought maybe I just needed to adapt to the new tv, but I compared things side by side to my old, cheap Samsung 4k tv (the 6900 series, which had mediocre reviews). Lo and behold, while the cheap TV lacked all the bells and whistles, it handled motion and smoothing remarkably better. There have been many discussions about other quality control issues with Hisense and how different updates have broken other features such as HDR, gaming, etc. While somebody recommended waiting for a firmware patch to fix my issues, I honestly shouldn’t have to wait for a patch that will only maybe make movie-watching bearable. If it’s not an excellent viewing experience right out of the box, I’ll take a hard pass. I’ll be sticking with Samsung or Sony from now on, even if it costs a bit more.

Terrific Quality at an Economical Price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only regret with this TV is that I didn't get the 65" at the time instead of the 55". Beautiful picture. Contrast and brightness is just fine. Colors pop well. I've been incredibly pleased with this for streaming (Google TV android system) and 4K disc. Excellent value.

Best budget TV of 2021/2022
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to replace a 2018 55” TCL 6-series that I moved to another room. Reasons for choosing this TV: numerous fantastic reviews and recommendations, good full array local dimming (even though it doesn’t have a ton of zones), amazing HDR brightness (highlights can make you squint in a dark room), 4k 120hz support for Xbox Series X. There are only 2 real drawbacks that I can think of: there is some blooming visible when there are bright highlights on dark backgrounds (that is mostly inherent in the technology) and that the HDMI ARC port is *also* one of only two HDMI 2.1 ports. I really wish Hisense had made one of the other HDMI ports the ARC input, as this halves the high bandwidth devices you can connect when using a sound bar.

Best budget TV on par with high-end sets!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV!! So bright and crisp especially after calibrating it and messing with the settings to YOUR PREFERENCE! I love that it can decode Dolby Digital Plus encoded videos and with lots of inputs, especially a 2.1 HDMI for my PS5!! Sound is decent but use a soundbar, one with Virtual DTS-X!!
