The picture is not what was advertised and reviews on the quality are way off, unless I have a dud! I the picture is grainy and pixilated when high speed action hits the screen, especially when there are shows and low lighting scenes in the movie. I was very disappointed in my decision and should have stuck to my golden rule. “STAY WITH A SONY”. I tried everything in changing HDMI cord to all the setting. I even hired a tv specialist to come out. Nothing made it better

Its pretty amazing to get a panel of this quality at this price point, what a time to be alive. This quantum dot mini-LED panel offers outstanding color accuracy, brightness, and motion clarity. The combination of the QD layer and mini-LED back lighting gives you a picture you would expect to have to pay much more for. Colors are bright and vivid without any software tricks required, not quite OLED good but this panel performs much better in bright rooms than my OLED does thanks to the finish of the screen and the peak brightness this panel achieves. Rated at 1000 nits peak brightness it doesn't give me any reason to doubt that spec almost regardless of room conditions you get a great watching experience. Mini-LED technology is the next best thing to OLED giving you many many more dimming zones its like a full array backlight on steroids. This particular panel offers 600 zones of dimming which provides amazing contrast. Not quite as inky blacks as a OLED, with the way LED panels work they will never be equal, but compared to a traditional LED you will notice a massively improved experience. This panel is also native 144hz which provides amazing motion clarity and great gaming experience. A little disappointing only 2 of the 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 specification which is required for high refresh rate 4K experience for your PlayStation or Xbox, would have been good for all 4 to support the latest specification. Supports all the latest standards like Dolby Vision and HDR10+, also supporting Dolby Atmos on the sound side. As with most TV's you'll probably want to go ahead and grab a soundbar for medium and larger rooms, the built in speakers don't sound like tin cans but leave a bit to be desired for sure and for Dolby Atmos you're going to want something with more speakers to allow for a proper experience. Supports eARC as you would expect these days for a superior experience with your home theater or soundbar set-up. Also has a ethernet port which probably wont benefit everyone but I certainly appreciate it, WiFi 6 for those without the ability to plug in. Fire TV is built in which is nice, only time will tell how long they will offer updates without making it crawl, but hopefully the gimmick of intentional obsolescence doesn't show its face anytime soon. Easy to get set-up and logged into all your favorite apps, no complaints about the functionality out of the box. Really a great value TV that offers a high end experience that you wouldn't have expected even 3 years ago. Definitely take a look if your not looking to drop $2500 on some other brands mini-LED offerings.

TV frequently “glitches”. Screen goes black, buffers, or audio does not sync up to visual. If you have the Ring sync’d up with the TV and are watching Netflix, you’ll get booted and sent back to the main home screen

This 65-inch screen from Hisense is pretty impressive all around. The 2025 model is a great entry to Mini-LED tech, and at 4k resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, it checks all the boxes in my opinion. The colors are vivid and the clarity in every frame is perfect. I found the stock speakers okay, but definitely left a little bit to be desired. I do love that you can connect your gaming console and put that high refresh rate to work. Playing games on this screen has been so fun, and it's extremely satisfying. Also, daylight pouring into my living room isn't really an issue, but that 1k peak brightness is very much appreciated regardless. Adjusting to the Fire TV OS was actually pretty easy. Everything is right where you want it and it's snappy as can be. I've had zero lagging issues or issues where everything stops working and either goes blank or just refuses to launch an app. Pretty much zero headache, plug-and-play type deal. I love how far along we've come in consumer tech. Everything just works and it's getting faster by the day! Overall, if you've been on the market for a TV with great features and AI to boot, this one checks all the boxes. Def worth checking out!

I love my new Hisense TV. This is my second TV from this manufacturer. I’m replacing my 55” Hisense Google TV with this 65” Hisense Fire TV. It came well protected in robust packaging. You don’t need to be afraid to have it shipped to your home. It’s easy to unpack if you follow the directions on the box. The only assembly required is attaching the 2 feet. Each takes 2 Phillips screws. Just easy. Learn from my mistake, and make sure it will fit on your TV stand before you buy it. I assumed it would be similar to my last Hisense TV, but this has a MUCH wider foot base. You need a minimum of 45” for the feet. My old one only needed half that. So…I had to upgrade my TV stand. My fault, but measure first and save yourself from that trouble. When I turned it on, it did a quick update and was ready to go. I did find that it had a couple of additional hardware updates when I went into the TV settings and ran a manual update check, but I’m sure it would have told me if they were important to install right away. I love this Fire TV interface. It’s clean and intuitive. Most of the apps I use came preloaded, or were recommended for installation during setup. The couple additional apps that I wanted were very easy to find and install. It took a few minutes to log into all of my apps, but that’s about all it took to get this thing set up. I use an HD antenna as well. During the setup, it did a channel scan and found everything I expected. Again. Super easy. There is a button right on the remote to switch to antenna. The picture is fantastic. Very crisp and good with motion. The color accuracy was very good. There are a few settings that you can customize, but I found it to be excellent out of the box. I played around a bit but ultimately set it back to default. You do have the ability to tweak each input, or you can apply the changes to all inputs. It has 4 HDMI ports and a USB port. HDMI 1 is ARC. I plugged my sound system into that port, and it fired right up. I’ve got my gaming console, DVD player, and an extra Aux HDMI connected just in case I want to hook up a laptop or something. That’s all the room I need. I love this TV. I think it’s excellent value. It is not a top-of-the-line OLED TV. You need to understand that. It has its limitations. But for the price point, I think it’s a great piece of hardware for my collection.

TV came nicley packed and delivered safely even though the box was in a little rough shape making me slightly concerned. I have never had a Hisense TV and have mainly shopped for OLED TV’s in the past and more on the top of the market. In my bedroom I had an older TV and I’m really excited about its replacement this Hisense U6. My old TV also only had two hdmi ports and one was for earc and my Sonos arc soundbar had major lip sync issues. This 65” tv is perfect size for my bedroom and is easily hung on the wall because it’s not that heavy. The box says 61lbs but getting it up on the wall was no problem. Boot up is easy and updates were fast. This tv uses fire as its operating system and that’s the only thing I dislike about this tv. Fire tv is just bad to me I don’t know why but it’s an easy fix so no big deal. This TV is bright enough in the day time in my bedroom for me to see clearly and at night it’s got great pop on hdr with minimal blooming and white around the dark scenes. Color is really good on this tv it’s a little on the cooler side or blue side but I like that for a mini led tv that’s how I liked all my LCD’s color on the cooler side. To get a mini led with all these features on a mid tier TV is perfect for me and perfect for my room. Overall I like my OLED much better but this TV was a perfect fit for my bedroom

    Perfection On A Budget!!

I am writing this review for the Hisense 65" Class, U6 Series, Mini-LED, QLED, UHD 4K Smart Fire TV, Over the course of many years, I have had the privilege of owning several higher-end TVs, each of them boasting of their individual technologies that they felt made them the most worthwhile to own. A few short years ago I thought we had truly arrived at the height of TV viewing experience with the introduction of HDR and QLED technologies. Boy was I wrong. I admit I was not prepared for the crazy advancements in viewing experience like the Hisense U6 series! But let me not put the cart before the horse here… When the Hisense 65” TV arrived at my house I was a bit concerned about how difficult it appeared it might be to move it inside and unbox it. My concerns were quickly put to rest as I began to open it up. In fact, I found the unpacking and setup to be quite intuitive. Everything was packed to where it was easily located, and getting the TV out of the box was really just a matter of setting it on its side and grabbing the fabric wrapping and easily sliding the TV out of the box. To put the enclosed base stands on, I simply propped up the bottom of the TV with a couple of pillows and attached them. With a weight of less than 60 pounds it was quite easy to lift it upright, and then into place in my living room. But before I move on to the actual setup, I wanted to figure out exactly which cords and cables I was going to use, such as which HDMI cables, optic cable, etc. I then plugged these into the TV before putting it in place. This way there would be no trying to figure out how to connect them after putting it in its spot. Much to my chagrin, I discovered the power cord connected to the TV on the opposite side of my old TV. This required a lot of moving everything around because the power cord is not very long. The actual setup of the TV itself once it was turned was a simple process that involved connecting the Hisense to the wi-fi network, signing in to all of the various apps, and then learning how to use the remote. All of it simple and easy. I have never owned a Fire TV before, so all of this is new to me. Many of my friends own Fire TVs, and I can’t recall a single complaint. So although new to me, I was pretty excited to see what all lay in store. So after getting everything set up and ready, it was time to see what the Hisense was all about. To begin with, like I said before, I was not prepared for this viewing experience. I am completely blown away by how unbelievably sharp, crisp, vibrant and deep the display is. It’s like looking at a super-high resolution photograph, but moving. I can’t really even begin to explain just how amazing the display on the Hisense TV really is. It’s stunning. What’s funny is, I wanted to understand WHY this TV was so much more superior than any of my other TVs, so I began to explore. Hisense uses both Mini-LED and QLED technologies. A simple explanation of this is, the Mini-LEDs are the “back lighting,” using thousands of mini LEDs behind the screen. This drastically improves contrast and “enhanced” brightness control. The QLED technology allows for over ONE BILLION colors! No wonder the display looks like a professional photograph! And to make it even better, Hisense utilizes built-in AI technology to make sure each individual frame is as perfect as it can be. Not only is the display amazing, Hisense also utilizes AI to improve sound quality. I don’t know all the ins and outs of how this works, but I do know that the sound quality is exceptional. Without any adjustments on my part, I picked an episode of a series to test out at varying levels of loudness. Even at the highest volume, there was no distortion, and conversations could be easily understood. No, it’s not on the level of say, a good quality soundbar, but for a TV, its very good. The good news is that Hisense allows for sound adjustments through the use of the settings menu. I was a bit surprised at all the options available in the settings menus. If it can be adjusted, Hisense offers a setting for it! Screen mirroring, PNP, Gaming optimization, even a Developer Mode! Wow! The bottom line in all of this is that the Hisense 65" Class, U6 Series, Mini-LED, QLED, UHD 4K Smart Fire TV is amazing, and worthy to sit in any living or family room. The picture quality is phenomenal, and the sound quality of the TV speakers is equally good. There are more than enough inputs and outputs available, and the very long list of options available via onboard controls will let you make the Hisense uniquely yours. This is a truly rare find, especially for the price!

The Tv is just amazing, especially when i am gaming on it. Colours & Clarity are perfect similar to Lg & Samsung.
