This tv was recommended by a best buy employee. I went from a TCL tv. Sound is good pitchure quality is good. Tv is sluggish and slow. I do not think I would buy it again. If I did not throw out the box I would have returned it. Maybe I will get to it. But at this point wouldn't recommend.

Best Buy sells defective TVs. Hisense knows they have horrible quality control. I exchanged this TV and every single one I got from Best Buy was defective. Best Buy outsources their customer service so getting it returned or exchanged the final time was impossible after I was transferred nine times. Do not buy this TV. You will be disappointed you can tell by the pictures there’s problem with the screen there’s also dirt and dust under the screen that came from manufacturing probably because the facility is dirty.
Best Buy outsource customer service and they’re so incompetent and horrible. They could not successfully get this product returned and my money back. This company is shady and I will no longer shop at Best Buy after this horrible experience. maybe if they hired customer service reps that spoke and understood the intricacies of the English language this issue could’ve been resolved. Instead since no one knew what to do the customer support kept transferring me never able to compete my requested return. Now conveniently the item is past the return period. I’m going to my attorney general and the ftc for deceptive practices for Hisense and Best Buy. I will never shop at Best Buy again.
Do not but this tv. If you do you will have problems and it will be impossible to resolve your issues. Do not shop at Best Buy they outsource customer service and these reps do not understand anything and transfer when they don’t want to do their job.
Also if you see this same tv on the rain forest website they have a label that says “frequently returned”. This should tell you everything you need to know

On my second tv, hopefully this one last longer than day. I notice some weird light bleed on bottom corner. To be honest stay away. Spend the extra dollars and get name brand. I'll probably be returning this tv. Before the 14 days. One is bad luck... But two in row is just red flag. Hisense has quality issues. Make sure you check the panel.

I purchased a defective tv and when I called the woman talked me into this one… and an additional 400+ later I can’t see any difference in the picture quality to justify the additional expense… I’m also experiencing issues with the tv not powering off and spotting… I feel duped and now need to replace this one and forfeit another expensive warranty

I spent months researching tv's and this is the one thta ultimately seemed like the value king for my case. The Contrast is great, the colors do pop and 1000nits peak is way more than enough in a dark room for me.
I initially bought it as a gift for my parents so the brightness was the only real factor and it delivered. Its in a spacious bright room directly parallels to a large window and the TV's anti glare is pretty good, but not perfect for fight all the glare that window causes. So I guess modern anti-glare isn't magic, but also this is not the highest end option for it so ill forgive it.
HDR on this display is lovely, considering its my first HDR capable one as the newest displays I have are a couple of IPS monitors from 5 years ago. One thing to note is that the VA panel of this TV leaves a lot to be desired with viewing angles. Even compared to an IPS monitor it washes out at not that extreme of an angle. I do plan to use it a monitor from 6 feet away in the future so it won't persist as an issue. But I've heard that ADS-Pro panels aren't half bad and there available on the 75U8K so for next years model id like to see it more common on this one for instance. As this kind of display is kinda the peak of LCDs.
Something to note that odd to me, but perhaps Is actually normal, is when I was testing it as a PC monitor it was worked really nice (ignoring that I was a missing a HDMI 2.1 connection and so couldn't do with 4k 144hz with 4:4:4 uncompressed color) is that this is a 4k TV, but it along with pretty much all other TV's I've looked at, don't specify the resolution. So you'd assume that 4k is a 16:9 display with a resolution of 3840x2160 but you'd be wrong. Because this is actually a DCI 4k display which is 17:9 and 4096x2160. Which in some ways is nice as its a little bit more widescreen, although at that point why not do the golden ratio 2:1 or 18:9 instead?
And while this isn't a major dealbreaker on paper. In practice most 4k films are 3840 wide by whatever height they want for a particular aspect ratio, not 4096. In pc desktop use its nice, but in games its not guaranteed to support 17:9 So you'll either be left by the tiniest of vertical black bars, or a slightly stretched screen. And while the tv's processing is good enough that the upscaling or downscaling and image looks good. Im going to know for a fact its slightly stretched for no real benefit.
I think overall Hisense has nailed their tv's hardware by this point, there software leaves a bit to be desired i think. It comes with Google TV, a skin of Android TV and it works reasonably well. With two issues. The first is that game mode cannot be turned on when in the built-in apps (which I'm aware you should avoid using, and this is one reason why) which is an issue if you use something like Steam Remote Play. Another is that if you crank the processing this TV can do and then use built it apps. Im assuming the processor of the TV does both its apps and image processing on the same chip. Because if you do both it increases the load enough for it to overheat and then throttle were all the processing jarringly turns off in spurts if your watching say a 4k HDR Movie using the built-in apps after about an hour. This can be solved by either using processing on an external input, or using the apps with little to no processing on.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase, but its not without its quirks. But I didn't want to spend a fortune and am tech savvy enough to were a little jankiness is fine.

I recently bought a $1,600 Samsung OLED 65" TV for my living room. It's amazing, but only after lots of calibration. Then I bought a $700 65" Hisense U7K for my basement. It was also amazing, right out of the box. Honesty, after owning these two, I really can't justify the cost delta for my OLED TV. Unless you have people watching from way off to the side (where the LCD TV suffers) the U7K is just as enjoyable. Especially with streaming content, which is often lousy on any screen, including my OLED. The three positions on my basement couch see an excellent picture on the U7K. The image is very bright, especially in HDR, so I am now confident that the $200 I saved from not buying the brighter U8K was a good decision. My PS5 absolutely blazes, and the U7K automatically recognized the PS5 and adjusted all the settings for low latency and HDR gaming. All said, I am super impressed with the U7K. And for those complaining about the remote... why? It's works just like my expensive Samsung OLED remote. It's just thicker and honestly, a little easier to find the buttons you need. If you only have $700 for a TV, buy this one.

I had read many reviews touting the Hisense U7K as a great price/performance buy, so I took the plunge and replaced my 2-year old Hisense 65R6G with this set.
To put it mildly, the 65U7K ROCKS!
Not that the 65R6G (now in my back room) was not good, I loved watching that set for two years, but it lacked the newer technology the 65U7K offers.
One of the metrics that attracted me to this TV is that it supports all 4K HDR formats with Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG).
Setup and adjustment was a snap. The Google TV operating system is more than worthy for this set. Remote is also adequate. It took me a while to figure out which button does what, but now I find it useful.
The U7K supports "Filmmaker Mode" was is set to standards provided by some of the top directors in the industry. Colors looks very natural. Most reviews I read said put it in "Filmmaker Mode" and all the rest is set to the correct standards. I found "Warm 1" to be the best white balance, 2.2 for Gamma "Automatic" for Color Space. I left all other settings the same as when I took it out of the box. "Automatic Scene Sensor" is off to keep the set in "Filmmaker" Mode" when formats change*.
*Dolby Vision is set to "Dolby Vision IQ" which also measure the light in the room.
The U7K has the usual settings: Low Power; Standard, Sports, Vivid; Theater Day & Theater Night along with an IMAX mode. Personally, I like "Filmmaker" to be consistent through all formats.
I do have the "Automatic Light Sensor" tuned ON. It adapts to the room's lighting very well.
The sound from the TV actually sounds better than what I was getting from a 2.1 soundbar I had been using, so I didn't connect the soundbar, instead going with the speakers & subwoofer on the set. I wear hearing aides and I hear the sound more clearly on the TV's speakers. It also can get very loud (to get the same volume on the soundbar I had to to tun it up way past 50%. Using the TV speakers, somewhere between 10-15 on the scale is more that loud enough. The TV is in a room where surround sound is not possible. I set sound mode to "Theater" for enhanced simulated surround. There are 8 different sound settings available.
The local dimming zones do a good job of extending contrast. The color palette of the Hisense is outstanding. Again, after reading independent reviews, the color gamut is among the most accurate and best in the industry. Hisense claims 1 BILLON shades of color. 1,000 NITS of brightness, too.
As for gaming, again, this TV rocks! I have an Xbox X and with refresh rate of 144Hz and a very low latency (reportedly 13.5 milliseconds) game play is seamless and responsive and in Dolby Vision for games looks outstanding.
I would say for the price it would be extremely hard to find a TV that meets the performance of the Hisense U7K.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently purchased the Hisense 65" Class U7 Series Mini-LED QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV, and I couldn't be more thrilled with both the product and the value for money!
The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors and sharp details that make every movie night feel like a cinematic experience. The Mini-LED technology truly enhances the contrast, providing deep blacks and bright whites, creating a visually stunning display.
The 4K UHD resolution brings my favorite content to life, and the size of the 65" screen makes it a centerpiece in my entertainment space. The Smart Google TV functionality is intuitive and user-friendly, offering a seamless streaming experience with a plethora of apps at my fingertips.
What makes this purchase even better is the excellent price point. Compared to other brands in the market, the Hisense U7 Series offers incredible value without compromising on quality.
I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, the sleek bezels, and the overall aesthetic that adds a modern touch to my living room.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a top-notch 65" TV with fantastic features at an excellent price, the Hisense U7 Series is the way to go. I'm one happy customer and confidently give it a five-star rating!

I LOVE this TV, and it is such a low price! SUPER CRISP picture. I Hooked my PC up to it with an hdmi 2.1 cable, and once I set the refresh rate to 144hz on my PC, the setup was complete! Same with my xbox series x, and MAN do these games look fantastic on this TV! To be completely Honest, the jump from 60hz to 144hz is not as much of a visual difference as I thought it would be, but there is a SMALL noticeable difference. But for this low price, I would say it is worth it! (yes I did fps tests on some modern games, and they did perform at, or close to 144fps w/ my 7900xtx GPU) I read the only difference between a U7 and U8 model is the U8 is brighter, but honestly, if you are keeping the TV inside, you will be MORE than satisfied w/ U7. Out of the box, the U7 is waaay too bright, (my eyes hurt at first) and I use mine in a very well sun-lit living room. Finally, I had NO issues at all like from other reviewers.
(Pro tip for quickly cycling through output monitors on windows PC: Just tap the windows key + P to switch)

I replaced a 6 year old Sony Bravia with this tv. I have been very pleased with the picture quality and the os’s speed. With that said it has a couple qwirks. I’ve noticed its takes a few seconds to match voice to mouth movement when you first turn on live tv at times. Also when you are scrolling videos on YouTube if you are not in the proper picture setting there is noticeable lag but that is easily fixed in a few seconds by adjusting the setting to one of the non hdr modes. HDR video looks amazing and the tv has better than average sound especially if the video streams premium sound enhancements. Gaming is solid and there are plenty of modes and options to optimize your experience . Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase and would recommend the U7k over other models in this price point.

The aesthetics, features, picture quality, and price are all amazing. Love this TV!
The built in Google TV is pretty great, though it was initially a bit slower and laggier than all the other standalone smart streaming boxes I’ve used. Enabling “Turbo Mode” in the Google tv setting seemed to fix most of that.
Built in speaker sound quality isn’t great, but that’s typical of most TVs.
Works beautifully with gaming consoles and broadcast TV.
AirPlay 2 is built into the TV - they should market this feature better, I didn’t see it listed anywhere.
Don’t hesitate to check this one out, crazy good value.

I recently had the pleasure of upgrading to the Hisense 65" Class U7 Series, and it's been nothing short of a gaming paradise. This TV is a powerhouse, and every moment spent with it is a visual delight.
Picture Quality: 5/5 Stars
The 144 Hz panel is a game-changer for any avid gamer. Whether swinging through the streets of New York as Spiderman or engaging in intense firefights in COD, the visuals are stunning. The deep blacks and vibrant color contrast truly bring games to life in 4K.
Movie-Watching Bliss: 5/5 Stars
Beyond gaming, the Hisense U7 Series shines as a cinematic masterpiece. With DOLBY Vision support, every movie night is transformed into a theater-like experience. The colors are vivid, the details are sharp, and the contrast is mesmerizing. It's like having a personal cinema in the comfort of your living room.
Features Galore: 5/5 Stars
The U7 Series is not just about the visuals; it's a Smart Google TV with a plethora of features. The user interface is seamless, and the integration of Google TV makes navigating through apps and content a breeze. Streaming services, apps, and games are easily accessible, providing a comprehensive entertainment experience.
Design and Build: 4.5/5 Stars
The sleek design of the TV is an aesthetic addition to any living space. The thin bezels and overall build quality are commendable. The only slight drawback is the TV's stand, which could be a bit sturdier.
Gaming and Movie-Watching Bliss: 5/5 Stars
For gaming enthusiasts, the Hisense U7 Series is a dream come true. The 144 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay, and the input lag is minimal. The TV's performance with both Spiderman and COD is jaw-dropping; every detail is crystal clear, and the colors are vibrant. When it comes to movie nights, the cinematic qualities make every film a breathtaking experience.
Overall Experience: 4.8/5 Stars
My overall experience with the Hisense 65" U7 Series has been phenomenal. The $700 dollars I spent on it feels like a bargain for the quality and features I've received. It's not just a TV; it's a portal to a gaming and entertainment universe.
This TV has certainly exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow gamers and entertainment enthusiasts. It's an investment that pays off every time I power it on.
