I missed out on the 65" S90C for $999. So I chose between this 75" U7 and the TCL QM-7. I've owned an entry-level Samsung 4K TV and a ROKU stick for the last 8 years. The brightness and vibrant colors, all within the darkest of scenes, are the first things that I noticed. No issues using the Google TV; it's very similar to using Roku. This TV is the brightest that I've ever viewed. I did consider the U8 being the flagship model. I ultimately choose the biggest budget model that I could afford. I enjoy watching sports and movies mainly. I feel that this is a premium enough TV for me. TV speakers were ok for the 10 seconds that I used them. I use a surround sound bar system.

I was conflicted for over a week about purchasing the 75 inch version because the critical review sites were testing the 65 inch version. The 55, 75 and 85 inch versions have a different panel type than this one and the reviews were saying this panel type was not as good, but did have better off-axis viewing. My first mini-led i got 2 years sgo, the high end TCL 65 inch with Roku system. It's been my goto TV since I got it. I was thinking about replacing my 2020 Vizio M-series 65 inch in my living room. I watched it for almost a week straight and enjoyed it still (I just watch recorded sports and Netflix/Prime video movies). I didn't want another 65 inch TV because I'm 14 feet away from it so I continued my search. I finally found a YouTube review of this 75 inch TV by a couple who had just reviewed a Sony 75 inch 7 series. Their final thoughts were that this one was just as good as the Sony and hundreds less in price (even more than that at BestBuy). They were right, i couldn't be happier (unless I was looking at a OLED for the same price). I turned "Content Type Auto Detection" and "Intelligent Scene" on in the display settings and let the TV brains do its thing. I tried "Auto Picture Mode" but when I manually changed the mode when I didn't like the mode it selected the TV turned the setting off. I was thinking about the same series TCL 75 inch which I knew from my prior experience was good but the Hisense has the NextGen ATSC 3.0 tuner already built in! Some day I will get to use it for 4k broadcast, just not today in my area. I still love my TCL, my Vizio went to my bedroom for occasional use, but this Hisense has been in almost constant use since its arrival a week ago. The colors are well balanced and well saturated. The image is extremely clear and detailed (picture mode i use most on 1080p broadcast is Sports). Ive seen no judder, no artifacts, no glitches at all. HDR is also well balanced and sharp. Standard 4k video, mostly from YouTube videos, is absolutely brilliant. This is an awesome TV!

Very impressed by the software on the U7N. Great at upscaling non-4K media. TV is bright enough to hold off reflections from windows and even diminishes lights that are opposite the screen. The Google OS is snappy on the menu, but slightly sluggish on apps, so using an Apple TV 4K gets around that. Gaming is very nice, bright, and not laggy. Definitely recommend using a soundbar. Built in speakers are fine but not worth it. This was an upgrade from a 65” Vizio and the size does impress. I am also impressed by the lack of heat it gives off even with brightness and local dimming maxed out.

Just gotta start off by saying this was probably the easiest tv ive ever set up! Putta the box, lookedbgreat, nothing wrong with it. It was pretty tricky to find the remote and cords for the tv in the box as they were kinda hidden away, so remember to dumb out and check the top of the box when looking for them. I bought this tv for a faster speed while playing on Xbox X as i was having lag and screen tear issues and it works awesome. Great for just regular tv and sports, but even better for gaming. The remote feels real nice, got a good ‘click’ noise to the buttons (if your one who has to hear the buttons click when your pressing them like me.) Overall the perfect tv in my opinion; it runs everything as smooth as you could possibly need it while playing fast pased games like COD. It performs how i expected it too, so GREAT value for the pricing, especially when buying discounted like on black friday. I needed a new tv in general, but was looking for something leaning more towards advance in gaming software rather then the visual and audio experience for the watching experience, and the tv both both perfect. Definitely reccomend if your looking for a good budget friendly tv for playing FPS games or even TPS like fortnite.

The amazing Hisense U7N 75" 4K television...

The Hisense U7N 75" 4K is an excellent television product. Although it sits a step below the U8N 75" 4k, it carries the Hisense tradition of quality and performance making this set an awesome value as it sits. Even the backlit remote has a superior look, feel, and overall functionality.
My experience so far is 100% satisfaction with the ease of set up and the stunning picture quality of my purchase. Added to that an optional sound bar surround system and I have the perfect home theater system.
Hisense has a 2 year warranty available to supplement the Best Buy Geek Squad warranty. Given the U7N's build quality and performance I doubt if the warranty will ever be needed.
I have expressed appreciation for Hisense's ability to produce a TV of this caliber. And, I will recommend the Hisense U7N 75" 4K be considered as an excellent buy!!

This TV has one major issue, that seems to be the issue across the board with hisense and thats back light bleeding. They sell this TV as the last stop before the massive price jump to OLED and the picture really is amazing the sound is better than any other tv ive heard in this price range with a built-in subwoofer. Bought this for the family's xmas present but may be swapping it only for the reason the backlight bleeding is an issue for strained eyesight. Gamers will love the 144hz refresh rate. Ai upconvert is just meh.

Absolutely love this TV! I wanted an upgrade from my 65" and settled on this TV because of the price. The picture quality is amazing! The sound from the internal speakers is plenty loud that I haven't even needed to install the sound bar I purchased.I purchased this TV in June 2022 and have had no issues with it to date (July 2025)

I bought the TV in an open box in excellent condition and it didn't have any signs of use at all. I wanted to upgrade from the basic 4k LED tv's that I've had. This is my 4th week with it and it is by far the best TV I have ever owned. The screen is huge and the picture is crisp. The sound is a solid 10 compared to flat screen TV speakers. I'd still recommend a soundbar subwoofer combo or a 5.1 system that I use for best results. It was an absolute a win for the price so far.

I love this TV. I’ve never bought a Hisense, as I’m a big fan of Bravia’s, but I decided to give this a try. The U7 has an amazing picture, and for the price, the specs could not be beat at 144hz.

This is my first Hisense TV. I recently decided that I'm not likely to continue buying the "big three" brands in the future. This time, I tried getting the most for the money and wanted to keep it under $1000. I caught the 75U7N on sale at $999.99 at the time instead of the $1499.99 regular price. I definitely got more than expected for that price. Mini-LED has to be the way to go for color pop and contrast for me moving forward. The brightness is rated at 6 times what my previous LG was, and reflections are all but completely gone because of it. Provided this Hisense lasts for a long time, they may be my first go-to TV from now on. For now, 5 stars for the value I received at a sale price. I used a soundbar from the first boot so I can't really speak to sound quality.

Great tv for how large it is. Played some games and watched some tv and it all looks good. Wish consoles put out more frames to fully utilize this tv. Plus the built in subs were a plus that help sound carry more

Great TV did research before I bought it currently had a Samsung was looking for another Samsung but basically did not want to pay the Samsung price tag so I looked up this TV saw that it basically packed a good punch competing with the big name brands and I saved a lot of money and I still got what I want so it was definitely worth it

This is my first Hisense TV purchase and so far it has been great. I've had the TV about a month and it's been excellent for gaming & streaming. I would recommend this model to others.
If there was any downside I could find to this TV is that I'm having an issue syncing my Vizio soundbar remote with the TV remote so I only need to use one remote, not both (however this may be user error but haven had any luck yet).
