I've been a gamer for 30 years; this my be the best game I have ever played. The story is great, the graphics are amazing, and the controls are flawless.

Fun, engaging and environmentaly interesting game, the maps give you a lot to explore, things to do and diferent fun ways to acomplish your objectives, movement is a little clunky but responsive, good looking backgrounds, ton of unlocks and side stuff with not that many maps, worth the money.

This game plays similarly to other Hitman games. There are only a handful of missions, but the challenges guide players to complete each mission multiple times in a variety of ways. If you don't care much for completing a mission over again, you will finish the game very quickly. However, if you explore every option to complete each mission, you can find yourself playing this game for a very long time. Not to mention, there are also an endless amount of other missions created by other players. The overall gameplay is fun, but I would probably classify this as an intermediate difficulty game and requires a good amount of patience. If you enjoy stealth games, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one!

Kinda torn on how to review this one. I bought it at basically the same time that I bought Hitman 2, and I played it before playing Hitman 2, because that's usually how sequels work. However, I discovered that, as far as I can tell, everything in Hitman 1 is also in Hitman 2 (or maybe it is only if you buy this game or the 'legacy pack' for 2). The whole thing's a bit complicated, but the upshot is this: I played through the story of Hitman 1 and then put Hitman 2 in and discovered that I could have played it all there instead, and my progress/unlocks would have been saved together with the stuff from Hitman 2. Your saves/unlocks from Hitman 1 don't carry over to the Hitman 2 game, so if you want to unlock that stuff, you have to play it again. TLDR: This is a fantastic game if you like stealthy, methodical gameplay, but I recommend you don't play it here--play the same content in Hitman 2. Either buy Hitman 1 or the legacy pack for 2 to unlock the first game's content in 2, then play everything from the beginning in Hitman 2. TLDRTLDR; buy this game and Hitman 2, but only play Hitman 2.

From the start, the controls are simple and easy to navigate. Eliminate the targets becomes a creative way to use multiple weapons and environmental structures. Repetitive if just going for the kill but enjoyable trying to complete the challenges.

Very fun game. I love how you can have more than one way to progress your way through. The graphics are pretty good to excellent. the controls are very responsive as well. Great purchase IMO. Especially if the game is on sale (will miss Gamers Rewards program)

Overall, this is an awesome game. If you have not played the first one, just purchase this one because it has the missions from the first game included. This offered 30/40 hours of game play and extra with the added stuff and expansion.

This game is fun but hard because you have to seriously plan your missions while in the missions. I got the game on sale and I am very satisfied with this purchase, its a game you can play with some downtime.

Awesome game with all the DLC’s and seasons included. A great story and fun gameplay if you love the Hitman series! Classic.

Another great game in the Hitman franchise. Worth the money if you’re looking for something to play. I can’t find a PS5 yet & don’t want spend a lot of money on PS4 games at the time. Unfortunately I had an accident & have a couple months off work. Limited on what I can do so I thought I find something to play. This looked like the best option. So if you’re in a similar situation & love these types of games. Don’t hesitate to grab a copy.

I love stealth strategies and finally gave this series a shot. I am SO glad I did. The gameplay is great and the challenges are fun. Definitely not for people who just want to run and gun. You've got many ways to play, and many different outcomes based on how you plan your mission. As you progress and become more efficient, it is so satisfying to beat your old records for missions and uncover all the secrets and alternate strategies.

I love stealth games, and this delivers. Like most, I wasn’t a fan of the episodic release format, but the game itself is fantastic, and obviously that doesn’t apply to this particular product anyway. It’s pretty immersive, each sandbox they give you has dozens (potentially hundreds) of methods. Takes patience but when you finally nail a mission exactly how you wanted, it’s super rewarding. It handles smoothly and it looks awesome. It’s also very much a challenge.

I've read all the great reviews, decided to check out this game for myself and was not disappointed. I'm having a fantastic time playing and replaying missions using the many different approaches and methods of in-game assassination. i'm looking forward to buying the sequels.

I would very strongly recommend getting Hitman 2 right after this. You can claim "the legacy pack" dlc which is basically everything from this game apart from user-made contracts, most escalations, and the sarajevo six mission set. It's free to claim. Anyhow, this is one of the best games I have ever played. Very good for a small session and very replayable.

Love love love this game! Oh my god! Serves as a beautiful distraction from how dismal and redundant my life has been since the pandemic. Really glad I found this game. I love Hitman. I have all three games. Cons: Because I didn’t buy this game when it came out, I missed out on bonus game play such as elusive targets. Kinda lame if you ask me.

Hitman Absolution on the PS3 was one of my hidden gems when I owned that console. I loved that game, everything was great about it, I was still finding ways to complete contacts even when I had to sell it due to getting a PS4. Hitman for PS4 is just more of everything I loved plus even more.

I love this game becasue it has soo many options on how you play etc. plus you can basically start and stop when you want. I can't spend hours playing anymore so it's a perfect game to jump into ans play for a bit and move on. Looks great on the 4k TV even though it's not 4K

Game up to date with all content and revised controls.

Game is super fun and challenging, I’ve found myself replaying the levels multiple times to complete various challenges and start with different weapons/disguises. Even though i’ve beaten the main storyline, will definitely keep playing for many more hours.

After trying Hitman series for first time, it becomes clear how fun, addicting and awesome it feels to use strategy and wits in various situations. You get to make hits in challenging ways in different locations and countries. It's a good time.
