Much better then Echo!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google home mini is an excellent product connected to my Nest thermostat,Philips Hue Lights, TP-Link wall plugs, etc. One of the things I really like about it is that it isn't always trying to sell you something the way the Amazon Echo is.

I prefer Google because of it's integration with all my android devices. I got Alexa because of it's Sonos integration. If you are just looking for a home assistant to begin the smart home adventure I think the Google home mini is the ticket. Simple to set up and simple to use.

Love my Dot

It's so fun to ask Alexa questions and set alarms and timers. I especially love telling Alexa to connect me to NPR news before I go to sleep.

Good Assistant for appointments etc

The Google device has some "personality" built in that Alexia misses. I am planning to acquire another Google mini and will probably sell the Echo.
