Google Home mini

Now replaced it with four google home minis-- and we are using them frequently --to control lights and scenes, play music, get information, and even make phone calls.

Integrates very well with Chromecast

The main reason for doing this was the Chromecast integration. I am able to request songs (Spotify) and videos (youTube) on the mini and have them play through a Chromecast device that is connected to my whole house receiver (please note as of this review there is no support for Netflix in this manner). Google still has some catching up to do to get to the functionality of the Echo Dot but they are adding functionality quite often.

Mini: But not LESS

This has great sound.. I was worried about the sound, but honestly, I end up turning down the volume. Value priced for a valuable tool!
