This personal assistant helps you out through a lot of stuff and plays a smooth sound when playing music. Google still has to improve a little bit its connection with house appliances such as TVs and lights.

I read reviews but everyone will have their takes. Personally I prefer my Alexa since it sounds better (music). I also think it's easier to control volume with the ring than with google. Personal preference really.

I like asking my home to set timers and to tell me news and weather. Quality of speaker is so-so, good enough to stream podcasts and music at lower volumes. At higher volumes the music seems to distort a bit.

We started with a Google Home Mini, and grew so accustomed to the smart speaker presence, this was the logical next step. Am already thinking of the next addition!

So far my husband and I are enjoying our google home. We have only had it for a few weeks. It works great with the Phillips hue light bulbs & connects to our chromecast to play Netflix and other shows. My only qualms are the google is still learning so she quite often answers that she doesn’t know how to do certain tasks. Maybe we are still learning too. We got a google mini a few days later for the bedroom and it seems to have more responsiveness. The large google home is a little slower / hard to listen. A few times the mini in the bedroom responds before the one in the living room when we are in the living room as well. We are enjoying it though and will continue to play with it to see how to get the most use out of it.

Google Home is a great device that I purchased as a gift for my dad. He absolutely loves it to play his music on from his iPhone. He also has his tv hooked up to it. He uses his on a daily basis.

This purchase was more for fun than function and the kids have enjoyed it. They enjoy asking "off the wall" questions amd it responds very quickly. I like that it'll play almost whatever music I ask for, on demand.

To be so small, it has a full sound. I haven't figured out how to maneuver my way around the music. I can't get it to play music stations. When I'm able to get more things hooked up to it, I'm sure I'll really enjoy it.

Fun product! Use it mostly to settle arguments with the family! We got for my mother in-law for Christmas. She enjoys using it to play music, make appointments on her calendar and for trivia stuff.

Bought this for my son, but admit we've all had fun using it. Google's responses are pretty basic, but pretty spot on. I didn't buy it as a speaker, but was surprised how good it was for the price.

I got these to replace my mini google speaker, it works as well the mini google speaker. I think the speakers might be louder but I haven't tested it out

Bought one for my husband and one for my son for Christmas. They & I absolutely love this. I listen to music from Pandora on it & the sound is excellent. Surprised at what all you can use this for.

Google Home will be a great product when all the features are activated and released to the public. There are so many things it has the potential of doing, but unfortunately other products on the market are already there. It doesn't schedule appointments, it has a hard time understanding what you mean in certain situations. I have to constantly rephrase my questions, and even then it says something like "sorry, I'm not sure how to help with that." I'm keeping it and hoping that Google will expedite these features. The speak is far superior to that of Amazon Echo and for that reason alone it will remain in my home.

Does not have as extensive a library of devices that can be controlled from it compared to the Amazon Echo/Dot. Also takes a while to figure out what to say to get it to answer. I expect both to be rectified over time.

This is still a new product and as such I expect it to have some hickups that I'm sure with updates will be patched and when they are I'd up this to 5 stars. Overall the product performs as advertised. My kids love to ask it what sounds animals make. The ability to have it turn on your TV and play youtube videos or stream music is just the coolest. most of out use takes place in the kitchen streaming music. Converting measurements. Checking traffic. It really is quite versatile and we learn new things it can do all the time. The glitches right now mainly consist of music stopping for no reason on occasion or the device simply dropping from the wifi. This doesn't happen often and when it does its fixed by simply unplugging and replugging in the device.

I like the Google Home - can control my Hue Lights, Nest thermostat and cast to my CHromecast enabled devices. I just wish that more features come for it because for the price, I expect it to be able to do more.

I am a long time Amazon Echo user. I bought this to compare. I was very impressed. Easy to set up. Answers are on point and useful. Control of outlets is easy. Zero misfires as I sometimes have with Amazon.
