As part of our smart home system, the convenience that this product offers is much appreciated. Obviously, the quality of the speaker compared to something like Bose sound wave is inferior but then I didn't buy this product to be blown away by the sound. I must say that even though I'm not interacting with it, there were rare times when it just started talking.... weird!

I rate this as a 4 only because it's still being learned. The gift is good and it's easily able to fit any home decor.

I did not even know anything about it when I got the google home but now I would not live without one. This thing can do alot for you like set timers hands free while you are busy cooking and entertain the kids while you are busy doing other things. We have had fun with playing family games and getting answers to questions without picking up a device and typing it out on the computer. Over all great device to have in your home.

Great sound on music. It plays most of the songs you asked for. I have used Pandora, YouTube and Google music

Voice recognition is good. Controls my smart TV and answers all my questions. Good addition to my living room.

I own 2 google home and one Amazon Echo. Google wins on many fronts, sound, footprint, and music most of all.

In terms of providing information, Google home is a great resource to have. It has a nice look and feel to it and a nice speaker for music. However, at this time it seems that the Amazon Alexa has a greater capability of interacting with other smart home devices. With Google being such a large company, it is clear that the Google home is being underutilized but has amazing potential.

Sound quality is great. We love using this product paired w/ out Spotify account.

I love hearing about all the wonderful things google home can do buy no one ever tells you that the only way it does those things is in conjunction with other devices you need to buy also. The other thing I don't like is that it does not link to other Google apps like Google calendar. You would think since it's made by Google it would link to everything by google. I know it's a first generation but it really needs to do more. Not a bad buy, but Google has room for improvement
