I like my Google Home but wish it could do a little more. Many of my requests and questions are met with an answer that Google Home cannot answer that at this time but new things coming. Wish I could delete items from a list for example ... Sometimes if you think about the question you can word it in a way to get an answer. It is still a fun item and I am glad I bought it. I will be adding smart home things as it gets better and can do more.

I purchased both the Google Home and the Amazon Echo from Best Buy. I found the Google Home to be the device that best answered the questions that we asked it, but the Amazon Echo was the best at playing music. We decided to keep the Amazon Echo and return the Google Home. I would recommend the Google Home for people who are looking for a device that will most likely be able to understand their questions and be able to provide correct answers.

I've had an Amazon Echo for almost a year so I'm comparing the google home to that. The sound isn't as good and honestly, it doesn't hear a well either. I got it because it connects with the chrome cast but it isn't as neat as I thought it would be. The echo has better sound too. I guess I just need to play with it more, but for now, I'd recommend the Echo.

I have been wanting a voice powered addition to my home automation system. This seemed to be a good choice and at the time the price was discounted so that clinched it. Now that I have it and I am learning all the ways it can be used, I am glad I did get it. It does take some work to learn how to connect it with the various devices and some devices just can't be connected yet but I'm sure that new capabilities will be developed.

The Google Home answers more questions than the other smart home product. Music sounds great too.

Love having google to give me all the info I need and, to adjust my thermostats.

Hey Google is fun to use. Still learning the many uses for this product. So far not dissspointed.

Has a really great speaker. At times, the microphone is not able to catch the command even at high pitch.

I am happy with the Google Home, but I'm also looking forward to it being able to do more in the future.

The Google home worked great right out of the box. It's attractive and has a very good sound.

I gave Google Home 3 stars because I believe the product is a little immature yet. It works fine. Setup was a piece of cake, love how simple it was. But using it requires you have to say specific phrases exactly. I still cannot get google home to tell me if it is currently windy outside. It currently lacks a few features like find my phone or create reminders etc.

Yes, there are far better units out there however for the sale price we received, this one is quite worth the money. Like other reviews, DO NOT use the HDR feature in settings - drowns out color and turns blacks to grey. Aside from this however, picture is still crisp and vivid. I rely on my receiver for all sound and HDMI functionality, so no real grips about built in speakers or expandability. SmartTV function works pretty well too.
