I can't 'forget' to find the list on the fridge and write it down. As soon as I know I'm out of something, I can just say...'Hey Google...' Setting alarms, reviewing schedules...all are great features. The only drawback, is I wish I could use my own choice of 'wake up' words.

Good, but with trade-offs.

The Google integration is handy and the home works well with our smart-home devices. The biggest downsides are that the microphone array doesn't work as well as Amazon's echoes (even a dot seemed to work better) and all of these devices have very lackluster speakers (while being unable to control our Sonos system).

Google Home - lots of potential, waiting for featu

Right now I use it mainly to listen to music (Spotify, Pandora, TuneInRadio, etc), as well as getting weather forecasts. I am hoping more 'smart home' products support will be supported, either directly or by IFFFT. We had the Amazon Echo for about a week last year, and I can tell you the Google Home sounds much better, audio quality wise.
