Really Fun! Looking Forward To Updates

My only complaint is it only looks at your specific calendar related to your account. Not any calendars you may have shared with your account. But there are talks of an update to address this issue. It is a lot of fun to use, I suggest playing games with Google Home, good fun!

A great assistant

It is basically an automated switch that can be used to control your smart devices. It does integrate with netflix, but does not allways play the shows from where your account has them saved. One neat feature is you can use your phone as a google home hub once you have one installed in your house.

The Echo is superior in response to commands. I have Amazon prime so I also have access to my purchased music with the Dot. I connected it to a wireless speaker and it sounds great. I returned the Google unit, it's not quite ready for prime time.

Great, but requires a learning curve

It's great and fun and useful, but I am a little disappointed I had to get a chromecast to stream music. Since it's already web-connected, not sure why the streaming service wouldn't be available directly through it. Anyway, It's truly google. Once you figure out how to phrase your questions, it'll retrieve whatever you ask for.
