It has skills right now but, the hope is that the Google assistant can become a star in a year from now. If this device does improve at the rate I believe it will, it can become a valuable asset to the home instead of just an ornamental air freshener.

Fun device

Not sure I would have paid full price. That said I still love it for what I use it for. Set alarms, keep a shopping list, turn on and off my TV via my Harmony Hub and IFFTT app. Can't wait to see what Google does in the future with the Google Home.
