Does a Lot....Long Way to go

Everything said that Home would be sooo much smarter and easier to use. It is easy to use, but still a long ways to go with regards to functionality. It will only read and respond to ONE google calendar, and if your work calendar has "sports' or "kids" as a secondary calendar, it does NOT read those! Boooo!! C'mon google Next, I moved my whole music library from iTunes to Google Play Music. So it should play anything in my library at request, right? Nope, not smart enough or maybe only if you pay for upgraded google play music subscription. WTF!!! We have Amazon Prime. In hindsight, should have gotten the Echo/Alexa as the access to Prime Music through the device would be worth it. But google talked a better game and I didn't want to have to alienate my daughter, Alexa, so we went with home. Right call? Time will tell

Good to Go

I am mostly using it for music and the timer function. I am hoping that google will enhance it with updates so I get more use of of it. I rarley use it for searches, but it does work well

Not quite ready for prime time, but a fun toy.

Main uses at the moment are checking the weather, listening to the news, using it as a timer and for playing music.

It can start a show on Netflix, cast anything from Youtube, and if you specify the device it can pause a show and change the volume as well. For my viziocast tv you can say "ok google change volume on "insert device name" to 2.1 and the volume changes to 21".
