I like this for everyday questions. It can often answer question the Amazon Echo can't but it doesn't yet have the app support as the Echo. Such as Starbucks, Jeopardy, etc. I'm sure that over time this will catch up and once it does it will likely be a better option for most. Only exception is you can't order items from Amazon.

I like this product , lot of options to play good music

My only complaint is that you cannot change the "name". It's either "hey google" or "Ok google" which I find very "machine-like" and yes, I know it IS a machine, I just don't want to keep repeating "google" every time I address the machine Otherwise good vslue,good product. I'm looking forward to getting the light feature.

From the time I wake up in asking google how the weather is today to know what to wear. And coming home asking google to turn on the lights for me is just great . Not having to pay a monthly fee to actually use it what actually sold me on it but after I used it I got one for ever room in the house .

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE having This! We had it about 4 days before decidinblg to buy a Google mini for our bedroom! Now thinking of getting more accessories...lights, plugs, Chromecast, door locks, and some Nest items to go with it! Google home app does everything! All you have to do it say "hey Google" ...

This product syncs seemlesly with Android products.

Pros: Works well with Smartthings, Phillps HUE, controls all with voice. Sir doesn't respond with Smartthings. I would of given it 5 stars if it would read my IOS calendars and all events and be able to add events, but they are improving weekly with updates Cons: only reads one calendar which needs to be the gmail calendar.

I love the google home very easy to set up and use.

The google home is great for keeping up with the news if you don't have cable, or listening to music if you have a premium account with a supported service. If you don't fall into either category though then you can probably do everything else with your phone. If you have a G Suite Google account then you can do even less with the Google Home because it won't be able to scan your email for flight and package info, and it won't be able to read your calendar appointments.Also, it has a hard time figuring out what to do depending on how you word a question. And for some reason a device named GOOGLE can't automatically fall back to a simple web search when it otherwise doesn't know an answer. On the plus side it will continuously get updates that may fix all these problems over time. If you're an early adapter or getting a gift for one then this is a fun gadget, but wait a year if you want a fully baked product.

Google home will definitely make your life easier.

Really cannot understate how awesome this product is. I am getting one for several family members for Christmas. Being able to use it to add/remove things from my grocery list, answer random questions that come up in conversation, give me recipe, or go directly to the music I want, just makes life so much better.

Easy to use, responds well, easy to ask information

I've had the Google Home for a month now and it's not the greatest assistant as of yet but could become better than Amazon's offering in the future. It controls a host of things and it's updated frequently with new services added. Speaker sounds OK but above 80℅ it sounds strained. I recommend if you want to be an early adopter.

Easy to set this up, fun for the little ones to use

Google Home is starting a little behind Echo. Some basic things like Iheart radio require chrome cast home to run. Google music will not play a requested song from your google drive library. At some point these will happen. I am told it does control your Nest items.

First off, this product is worth $130 just form a wireless speaker standpoint. The audio quality is outstanding, and the google Cast support really makes this product convenient. The automation integration with products leaves a lot to be desired, but IFTTT can help resolve some of the products that aren't currently supported.

Google Home is new to the market and has some advantages when compared to Amazon Echo. So far I like the product and hoping google would develop lot of features by the end of this year. I believe Google Home is more accurate than Amazon echo in terms of search. My daughter is loving it and it is helpful to her in her studies.

To quote William Gibson "The future is already here — it's just not very evenly distributed." This has all the power of (She who will not be named) but with the knowledge graph of Google behind it. The ability to ask it contextual questions is awesome, and talking to your home makes me feel like I'm in the future!

As a Dad, anything that can make my baby happy makes me happy. And the google home does that. Baby is feeling sad, ask google what noise a chimpanzie makes and hes gigglnig. Need a distraction? Ask google to play toddler music and the baby will be bouncing around. For this reason, google home has been great.
