I was looking to get a voice assistance device for my dorm room at school. I settled on the Home vs the Amazon Echo. I really enjoy the connectivity between my Google Chrome cast. So far I have no complaints, I enjoy getting emails regularly after registering my product with tips and tricks for using the Home.

fun to have in the house. its still limited to what it can do but apparently google is working on things with updates it will soon be able to do more. if getting smart home accessories make sure its compatible with the google home. don't just go and buy anything. it only connects with certain accessories.

The Google Home takes some getting used to. I'm still learning some of the possibilities. Google Home often doesn't seem to have answers for me. ..not sure why. I have had some difficulty getting it to play my uploaded music cds. I remain positive that it will work better for me as I learn more about it.

Was included free with order. Very useful and fun for whole family to use.

I enjoy the Google Home. I like that it works with my Hue lights. I play trivia with it and it's quite fun, actually. I wish that it would work with my Sonos speakers. Hopefully, that's coming soon. There is still room for improvement with this, but this is a great way to start off turning your home into a smart home.

Tried amazon dot first, and returned it right away. This fit my lifestyle much better as It's more integrated in what I did and use on a daily basis. Still needs work. Sometimes her voice sounds a little muffled. Needs more integration amd be able to do multiple accounts and more like Google assistant on the phone.

This is a nice new gadget and great technology to make daily routine easier

Absolutely love my Google Home. I first saw it at a shopping event at my local store and was amazed with what it can do. I now have it paired up with my Spotify and my Phillips Hue lights. Can't wait to try more things out with Google Home.

Excellent product. extremely satisfied with its performance. I have been using this for the past one month..and it has performed flawlessly. There are lots of possibilities to integrate with Smart home systems like Nest, Philips Hue. It will be good if we can integrate other international radio services

I am looking at the as being early in the world of AI. If you have this in context, you can enjoy this product a lot. I chose Google over Alexis because I could get more wikipedia lookup type answers from Google Home. Happy so far. Handy. I'm looking forward to the evolution of this product over time.

We've been using it for a few weeks and so far so good! It's limited in what it can connect to but we use it mostly for pandora and controlling our Roku using the quick remote app. Other than that, asking basic things like which restaurants to go to, local weather etc. and it's really handy and works well.

I purchased this pretty early after its release, I only read a few reviews so i knew it wasn't perfect but we love it! Its not something i would say is a necessity to have in the house but now that we have one I couldn't imagine not having one. It Does add a lot of convenience and thats the main thing.

The longer we have this device the more uses we find for it. I especially like the 'set an alarm' feature since I always get involved in other projects at home and after setting an alarm via a simple voice request, I am often saved from forgetting something important.

I like this speaker, however it creeps me out when with no apparent reason the speaker's mic turns on. Home automations with Google Assistant are nonexistent, but that's a story for a different review. Bought it just because it was on sale.

Google home works well but has a ways to go before it is really ready for prime time. Questions must be phrased simply to get a good answer. Great for questions like "what time does bestbuy open today?" "What is the weather?" How do you say "I love you" in French. Hopefully it will get better and better over time.

This product is very cool, but as of right now, it's more of a gimmick. When it has the ability to seamlessly interact with my phone, and act more as an "Assistant" rather than a glorified Google voice search, then I'll give it 5 starts. But for now, it's nice not having to get out of bed to turn the lights on/off.

love the cool things it does, it works with my sony 4k tv with android tv in it, I command the google home to control my tv, turn on, change channel set volume etc...but there is still things they need add like calender adding, more accurate searches for questions, little things, which I know will be updated.

It's google, its good needs to evolve. I have used it for more than a week with it now and I have a very neutral opinion about it. It is very good with the cast, search, and shopping list. It will take some time for sure to get integrated with home automation, cars, etc. I am not a fan of the keyword "Ok Google"

I find the google home ecosystem for controlling smart lights a but cumbersome. If you want to add lights or change around your setup it can be a bit of a bear to do. For basic stuff google home works quite well, but for simple home automation the menus are downright scary to navigate.

I have found the Google Home to be very helpful to receive info from the internet. It also gives me the weather for my area and helps me learn with random facts. I am very please with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get quick info and facts without having to lift a finger.
