Product was a gift to someone else. Don't know if it is any good or not.

So I had bought this for my mother, because I noticed she kept asking her phone questions. Now as she is up and around doing things in the kitchen, she can find out the weather, information about business's in the area, cooking questions, etc. Its amazing how well it responds and answers questions.

Alexa doesn't have they cast feature integrated. Telling Google Home to play a movie from Netflix or YouTube to play on our TV is our favorite feature. Alexa still has more skills and handles clarifying a question better at the current time (June 2017). Google Home is our go to for watching TV.

Not quite as intelligent as I expected, but it's marginally useful so far

This is a very nice "assistant" type of product. It still lacks some features such as setting reminders for things to do later in the day. But google is working on adding it. Other than that it's a very intuitive gadget that surprises me with it's "intelligence". Chose this over the echo after extensive research.

I bought this, thinking that I would return in a couple weeks after trying it out. No way I am taking it back. I have since added several other parts and have learned how to use it, super convenient. I am now looking to purchase more parts to go with it because it is so awesome.

This will be for sure the future of a digital assistant but for right now the Amazon echo sounds better and Alexa's voice is a lot more appealing that the voice of the Google device. To do Lists and Shopping lists are extremely useful and at the time of writing this review was not available on the Google device.

this has been a fun accessory to have in our home. I do wish it had more capability to interact with more apps. there have been a few things we've been disappointed that it couldn't deliver on, such as quoting book and Bible texts, etc... overall, my husband LOVES this and it was his favorite Christmas present.

I love my Google home so much. I ask for weather forecast every morning and I link it with my Harmony hub to turn on/off my TV. It has made my life so much easier and I am loving it. Last but not least, sometimes I would say "Ok Google, drop a beat" and I would start rapping with Google Home! Haha!

It is a tool to be used and I am surprised that you can not synch it with the google on your phone or use it to set general reminders like you can with your phone. I'm hoping that it will be changed with an update in the near future. I'm not sure which automated device that I would recommend to a friend.

The Google Home in is it's current state is a good start. There doesn't seem to be too many smart home features at the moment, but there should be more coming in the future. One of my big reasons for choosing Google Home is that it looks less like a piece of tech, which allows it to easier blend into my home.

It's great company when you are alone. You can ask what's weather, get latest news. Still exploring its capabilities and hopefully i will learn new things in short time. I also want to explore intelligent temperature control and light control. It's fun experience the new technology and internet of things.

Over all a great products, however I cannot seem to get my device to cast from my devices to it tends to have to remove and add the device on the app not use if the issues is the google home app or the device. The command responses and response time is great. I would definitely recommend.

The good is it recognizes the voice and responds to commands perfectly. it has good sound too. The biggest disadvantage with this is linked to single account and needs Youtube Red or other paid subscriptions. it requires to be plugged to power source.

Voice activated assistants are the future, I guess Siri started it and now Google Home and the Amazon Echo are taking it to the next level. I haven't started adding the "connecting" accessories (lights et al) but it is just a matter of time. Might as well get used to it, this is the future.

Not a huge fan of any of these things, but I put this at my office and I found Google Home to be a better AI assistant than Siri or Cortana. I find myself using it while working on emails or other projects so I don't break off my concentration to look up stuff.

I purchased this as a gift for my son's birthday.. I already have a Google Home at my house, and he just had to have one. They are cool, and provide great help for most anything. You do have to learn a little too, but I would recommend this for anyone considering a personal home assistant.

Google Home is very useful when you don't want to turn on the computer. I use it everyday before I go to work because it tells you how the traffic is on your route to work. That is just one example. Another example I'll use it as a calculator. I still have to learn how to turn on the room lights.

I love the google home. You can use it to do simple things, such as tell you the time or weather. You can also connect it to your smart home and tell it commands such as dim the lights, or raise the temperature (depending on if you have smart items). Overall we really enjoy having it in our home.

The Google Home has lots of potential because it leverages Google's already huge infrastructure, it just needs more companies to work with to catch up to Amazon. The speakers are amazing, but the microphones aren't as good as the Echo.
