The assistant performs well. And the speaker performs well for $100 non stereo speaker. What you will sorely miss is definitely bass, but the ease of controlling smart appliances with your voice makes up the difference.

It works, but only if you have a router. If you are living in an apartment which offers free WiFi, this product will not work. Otherwise, it seems to be an excellent product which I will purchase again when I am settled in a new home.

I was very skeptical about getting one of these but now that I have it, I love it. Works extremely well. I have linked my pandora, spotify, etc to it and it works well. I ended up buying one for my fiance's father who loves it as well.

Google Home is a great addition to a connected home. It does not interface with a heck of a lot yet but expect that to change in the near future. Be carful not to put it too close to your tv however, the google home commercials will prompt it to reply.

Got this for a Brother in-law and he loves it. Seems to be pretty intuitive and works very similar to "OK Google" which makes it easy to learn, thank you Google for the great home product. I am going to trade my Alexa for one soon I think.

Google Assistant was good and was able to identify some of the complex non-english dialect words but with little repeating and accurate pronunciation. Would love to see it evolve. Definitely miss wireless capabilities and better speaker capabilities.

This is a great product with a lot of features, although not a lot of smart home integrations as Alexa, but guess what - realistically it's not as much needed. I use it for Music, Wiki, Search, Calendar lookups etc. Good family product.

My family loves this product. We have fun asking Google funny questions as well as real ones. My husband has also figured out how tell Google to add items to a shopping list, our calendar, or broadcast messages to one our kids.

This product has lots of promise but could use some tweaks. Mac iPhone users may be frustrated with the integration of some features but overall it’s easy to use and fulfills its purpose.

Pros: Integrated with maps - says how long it takes to reach my work. Integrated with my calendar and reminders. Can use with most of the android devices. Cons: No battery, still wired. Would be good if it can handle multiple google accounts.

Wish it was as good as Google on my cell phone. There are times when the Google Home say it can't help, but she is learning ?? From what ?? And when & where is she learning from, then please learn and then remember the next time I ask for help.

Unlike other customers I love using my google home while taking a shower and getting ready for work in the morning. There's nothing better than having shampoo in your hair while listening to the news from a number of preselected sources.

I thought I would write a review on this item I had bought it used it for about a week or two and was very unhappy with it it is nothing more than a glorified Bluetooth speaker. I tried using it for smart home control but no dice I'm using a Samsung Smart Hub. The Google Home would not control anything with SmartThings just thought I would give everyone a heads up before you go buy this product. I traded it in and got an Amazon Echo, and am very happy with Echo I purchased instead. The controls all of my smart home devices and like the Google Home.

Love the speaker, and she provides entertainment. Its just too high tech for us to buy all of the accessories like light bulbs, etc. to hook up to utilize a lot of the features. Besides, my husband is paranoid big brother is watching..

I have both Google home and Alexa. There are pros and cons to each. The speakers seem to be comparable. The search results are much better with google home vs. Alexa. However, Google Home will randomly stop playing music which is extremely annoying.

The Google Home is quite amazing to these two senior citizens. Sometimes, I say, "OK Google, play Pandora Beggie Adair station and it will tell me that it cannot locate Beggie Adair. Other times it will say, "here you go" and play Beggie Adair.

I love my Google best thing I purchased. I have colored lights so I can change white to green etc. I also have option to put the lights at a certain percentage. Great for a dimmer light. I got this on sake which was wonderful.

Got this for Christmas and wasn't sure if I would like it. Turns out I use it more than I thought. The grandkids have a lot of fun with it. There are still things that she says she can't help me with yet but hoping updates will make it even better.

Great start. Google has to add features fast or else be left behind Alexa. They have better AI but more features need to show up on Home. Adding calendar items, sending map directions to phone, controlling WeMo are just a few needed ASAP.

I love my Google home it works wonderfully. It controls my Sony tv thru my harmony hub. Gives me weather and driving conditions my wife used the shipping list all the time. Only problem is she doesn't hear as well as my Alexa
