This is perfect for our family which includes a skill range of "very techie" to "still uses a phone book" . Useful for news, weather, trivia and the music feature is great. Can't wait for more features!

google is awesome. We used it as a timer as my wife needed to put ice on an eye injury every other 20 minutes...hey Google tell me when it's been 20 minutes. Google settles many arguments too.

Works as designed. There are pros and cons of this versus the Amazon Alexa. Plus for Google is IFTTT. Otherwise pick which one supports more of your in home devices as they are quite similar.

It may be that we don't have enough "smart" home appliances, but right now the usefulness for the price does not seem worth it. Maybe it will meet its potential for me and my family in the future.

I bought this item so my wife can communicate with our Nanny. Google home has to be one of the best item I have ever purchased. It can really translate everything and control everything.

Google Smart speaker is convienent and fun to use but it picks on little sounds and starts talking by itself sometimes. It listens to you talk even when you don't think it is!

Purchased for Christmas and thank goodness I didn't realize all the features otherwise I would not have been so patient to open! Best part so far is saying "Hey Google I feel lucky"

Google home is a great device for the home. We have mainly used it for music but it is capable of a lot more than that. It's great source of information and future capabilities are exciting.

Exceeds expectations. Easy to install. Amazing speaker with adjustable volumn, which can be very loud. Lots of features and so much fun. Bought it for myself for Christmas. Best present ever!

I really like the clear sound that comes out of the speaker but was disappointed to find out I don't have full range music like I had for a couple weeks I am being told I have to purchase that be fit.

A fun gateway into a "smart home." I am a beginner and just use this with the Philips Hue lighting system for now, but it all works well so far. Looking forward to pairing more devices in the future.

Having a blast with this device. Jokes are pretty bad but at the same time funny. Love traffic reports, weather,pandora, etc. still new to this device. Need to connect to smart tv.

works fine for home, does not work with school internet like eduroam. If you are a student living in a school dorm, I suggest using Amazon Alexa.

Our google home is so much fun to use. She remembers things you like and say and has so many ways to assist. We are still learning how to have her communicate with our TV, etc... Great product so far.

Even though some features are missing at the moment, this device has been very great. I have been able to integrate IFTTT and smart things with no issues. Loving it so far can't wait for new features.

We love the speaker so much we bought 2, we also signed up for the google play music account. it is a little pricey but with all of the bonus items that came with the plan it is worth it.

I never thought I would need this product. It came with my purchase of a Google MacBook but I actually find it extremely helpful. It is nothing like Apple Serie. It actually works.

This is a great new tool for my wife and I. Funny thing happened though. Someone on TV was demonstrating the Google Homestead device and asked it a question. My device answered the question.

Loving my Google home. Not a lot of home automation integration out of the box, but should grow quickly. Works great with my hue lights and ifttt support make integrating with other stuff pretty easy.
