I have 2 Amazon voice assistants and like this more. Super easy setup. Very responsive. Pretty good sound for what it is.

This is the best consumer electronics product I have purchased in many years, so good I bought 2. The speaker quality is much better than the Amazon product. Have yet to stump the music collection and fun to ask it questions with family and friends. The 1st one is a central part of my open kitchen/family room area and the second one is upstairs in the master bedroom. A great addition to anyone's life including the technology clueless. I can't wait to see what Google does to upgrade it remotely in the future.

My daughter recieved one as a gift at our office party. She enjoyed it so much I just had to get one. So far so good. Haven't learned everything there is to learn yet because there are so many different things it can do.

After having this for a year we loved it so much we gifted one to the sister in law. I will say that having the Google music app (for just under 11.00usd per month ) does making the music selection 10x better.

I’m not too tech savvy so although Google Home is capable of so much, I have been using this product mostly to verbally control my music while I clean! I absolutely love how the Google Home fits in to my decor!

We've really enjoyed Google Home since we got it. It's been great for playing music, casting to our chromecast tv and even working with our August smart lock. That said, the 4 stars instead of 5 come from it's inability to recognize my squeaky female voice and having to ask it to play Pandora 3 times often before it'll play a station. My toddler is also terrified of it - but that's not anything Google can fix! Overall, I'd definitely recommend it over Amazon Echo or other systems and would recommend it period.

Understand if you buy this now you are getting Google Home Beta, and while that is not a deal breaker, there's a list of things that it can't do yet. I have 3 Amazon Echo's on one side of the house and 2 Google Home on the other. Google Home gets prime placement (Bedroom and Kitchen) since Google Home allows me to stream simultaneously to all home devices at once. I can stream music or podcast to multiple rooms at once. The Google Home Speakers produce a decent sound. Sonos capabilities without the sound quality or the price.

Better than Alexa or Siri in understanding my questions and answering. Hopefully the smart things support will improve over time.

It helps me with timers and alarms for cooking. It has fun games you can play. With Pandora I play music on it. It tells me about the days weather. I have a mini upstairs and the 2 units act like an intercom.

Google is headed in the right direction with this product. I enjoy the easy accessibility and ability to make calls. Once they make some improvements and broaden Google Home capabilities, it will be an amazing product.

It’s smart enough to tell you how much plane tickets cost from where you live to anywhere you can think of, or oddly specific information like how much a Elephant weighs or ring my phone when I can't find it.

I been looking at home automation and needed a base product in order to proceed with adding various other projects. It was between Google Home and Amazon Echo Dot. I purchased both and after using both, have decided to proceed with Google as I find the google eco-system far more suitable for my needs as I can customize and tweak things. Easy to set up and don't underestimate this little product. It packs a punch as the speaker is quite loud with good bass.

Got this for the wife, it works great, it controls the Lifx bulbs with no problems. This is a must have for home automation.

I’ve added the smaller version as well as the video upgrade of this item to other rooms in my home. It conveniently cuts all my lights on as I ask it to, when walking in the front door at night. It gives me a wake up call in the a.m., and even plays the sound of crickets chirping at night for a background sound in the bedroom when falling asleep. The myriad number of things that you pick up your phone or tablet to inquire about are readily accessible by just asking....

I use my google home to set timers, especially for the kids, find out what is on my calendar for the week and traffic reports. The kids love to ask her silly questions and she has even helped them with their homework.

Works great. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Google play music paired with the Google home is perfect. Play any song you want.

It works well with the phillips hue, but I wish it has as many integrations as amazon. Doesn’t work with Sonos without some work arounds, and doesn’t work with iSmart alarm at all. What it does work with, it works well.
