First unit smelled like burning plastic every time we ran it. Exchanged for a different unit that ended up smelling the same way. Honeywell support was contacted for the smell issue, and their recommendation was to run outside for "up to 8-10 hours to eliminate the smell." So we ran the 2nd unit in the garage for 3-4 days and the unit still smelled like burning plastic. The 2nd unit was returned and we ended up getting a TaoTonics tower fan from amazon (that works great and doesn't smell like it will catch on fire) instead.

Like the tilt, but more intensity on the fan for a farther reach would improve it tremendously. It is necessary to be within two feet to have any positive cooling. The slide on the front inhibits the flow.

Pros: ability to choose oscillating or non Cons: weird squeaking sound when turned sl the way left, noisy, can't use effectively with smart switch due to touch controls, when you turn off all settings are "reset."
